Happy Friday!

I had the epidural procedure late yesterday afternoon.  I had light sedation and was relaxed but awake through the procedure, and that made recovery a breeze. This specific shot is targeting the pain running down my arms. We have to address the pain symptoms separately, and see what works and what doesn’t. I’m happy to be moving forward and trying to find solutions. Right now, the sorest part is my right hand from the IV :-)

Tomorrow we have my niece’s wedding, and I’m boarding Maggie again at doggy daycare :-) Sunday I hope to work, even if it’s only a few hours.

So what are weekend plans? Whatever it is, I hope you have a great one!

Yay for forward progress on the medical front. Yay for happy family times. Yay for writing! And hopefully, Maggie will have some doggy friends at daycare to play with.

Plans? I have none. Well, work. But that’s a given when you write for a living, right? I also plan to read some because I can’t get certain books in audio. I’ll also be listening to a book. And I might try to clear out some of the DVR. It’s supposed to be a bit warmer out so I should be doing some yardwork. We’ll see how that goes.

    Have a great weekend, everyone!

I’m interested in hearing how you’re doing today. Is there improvement already? That would be amazing :). Sorry about your hand, IV’s are nasty.

Have a great time at the wedding. I’m sure Maggie will have fun at her “sleep over” too ;).

We’re going to have that birthday dinner for the eldest Saturday. It will be rather warm here (40 F) so his mom will be okay taking him out.

    Have a great weekend!

Silver, hope it warms up there, even if it does mean yardwork for you :-) And yep, being a writer means we’re always writing or doing writerly stuff.

I hope Maggie finds doggy friends in daycare too. All these experiences are good for her I think.

    Enjoy your weekend!

Viki, I feel an improvement today along the specific nerve paths down my arms. It’s not all gone, but better. I even swept and wet-swiffered the downstairs floors, which requires using my band arm/shoulder/neck. My neck and middle back are a little tight and sore but not bad. So far, this epidural is a lot easier recovery than the facet joint injections too.

Hope you have a great time celebrating oldest’s birthday and Harrison enjoys his first experience in a restaurant! Hope his mom enjoys herself too–we worry so much as new moms, sometimes for forget to just enjoy!

Yay for something that alleviates the pain! Or at least gets it to a point where you can function. :hugs:

This weekend I have a lot of editing to do if I want to have this ready to send to my editor when she sends me back my other book. I’m taking the night off, though, because Live PD. Tomorrow and Sunday will be head down, butt in chair, hands on keyboard.

    B.E., thanks I’m better than I was, so that’s something :-)

Wow, you’ve been very productive these last few years, I’m impressed! Not sure what Live PD is? I probably should know, right?

    Have a great weekend!
