Wednesday Worthy

Yesterday was a little rough, but people who’ve had these epidural shots are assuring that the second one often works much better, sometimes creating a dramatic difference. That sent a shot full of hope into my pity party! However I’ve also made an appointment with my GP to go forward with a neurosurgeon consult.  Mostly because Wizard made me :-) Okay he didn’t make me, but he pointed out that we should make sure I don’t need surgery sooner rather than later (or never!). Wizard is of the opinion that I’m not medically qualified to decide that on my own.

Whatever…

Just to add to our fun and games, Wizard is in pain and dealing with pretty severe issues too. I don’t want to go into all his personal stuff, but I do want to say this: He’s really been a trooper. The last two years have heen pretty brutal to him, but he keeps going and trying to take care of everyone else around him. He’s the stuff heroes are made of (and why yes, I am biased since I’m married to him!).

While I’m still slow on the book, I had one single moment of utter glory having to do with one of my favorite characters in the book, Justice’s dad, Noah. I hope it works as well as I think it does!

Now let’s go onto our Wednesday Worthy! Here’s today’s candidate.

What do you think, is he worthy?

You won’t be susrprised when I say I have this guy in my files, so yes, totally worthy!

Epidurals are like steroids. They need to build up for real efficacy. You’ll get there and I agree with Wiz. We sometimes DON’T know what’s good for us.

I feel for Wiz. Lawyer Guy has been dealing with the same issue for years and yet he just grits his teeth and continues being the awesome dad, husband, brother, and friend that he is.

Silver, nope I’m not surprised :-)

They told me that about epidurals too. I’m not super patient, thought. However, today is much better.

Our husbands are pretty amazing, aren’t they?

    Happy Wednesday!

Sorry to hear that you’re suffering. Hopefully it will get better with more treatments. Love the photos of Maggie today ;). She doesn’t get the idea that you may need to stop. She’s a go get ’em kind of gal ;).

Poor Wizard. Is he going look into another course of action in relieving the pain? You two have had it really tough the past couple years with all the pain and trying to manage through it.

    Go Noah! Can’t wait.

    Yes, he is worthy :).

    Have a great afternoon :).

Gah. It’s one of those mornings when I don’t know where I am or what day it is. Apparently, yesterday was one of those mornings, too, or I would’ve been here.

I’m so sorry you and Wizard are in so much pain. :hugs: Yay for writing glory, though!

I’ll give this guy a ‘worthy’. Looks like a hard working dude. =o)

Viki, Maggie is pretty fearless now when we walk. While she’ll always have a timid, submissive soul which is part of her charm, she’s developed a lot more self confidence in herself and trust in me, and loves exploring. She’s a joy :-)

Wizard is seeing a specialist and he’s willing to do whatever it takes so that’s good. He’s just juggling so much, I worry about him. But worrying is in our job description as a wife, LOL!

I’m late answering this, so I have you’re having a good Thursday!

B.E., I have those days too! Especially when I have insomnia, and I think you deal with that a little bit too? Anyway, you made it here, so yay!

Writing glory is addictive–I want more, more, more! LOL!

Glad you like this guy, I just wish he’d tell us what he’s doing with those chains.
