Wednesday Worthy…Easter Edition

Sunday is Easter! We’ve been so busy, birthdays and holidays are catching me by surprise. In between the baby (I’m going to see him today and help out Special K!), and some home improvement stuff, plus life, I’m in constant motion.

And FYI, the next time I say to Wizard, “What if we try sanding down those tables and whitewashing them?” they may be my last words. We’ve been sanding, sanding, and sanding our new living room tables trying to get as much of the dark stain out as we can, then we’ll staining them with whitewash and hope it comes out rustic-distressed. But tonight (Tuesday) as I’m writing this blog, we can both barely move. I really need to stop having bright ideas, LOL!

Naturally, no amount of soreness will keep me from going out to see my grandbaby tomorrow, and helping out Special K.

Now onto the Easter Edition of Wednesday Worthy: I have three candidates for you :-)

Okay so which kind of chocolate is “worthy” to you? Dark, milk, white or none at all? Also, if you do like chocolate, do you like your Easter bunnies hollow or solid?

For me, it’s solid dark or milk chocolate :-) White chocolate is usually too waxy for me.

Don’t celebrate Easter, but it doesn’t stop me from eating dark chocolate and some white – diane

Chocolate! I’ll eat them all, thank you very much. We’ve been eating more dark chocolate because it’s supposed to be good for you, but if I had my druthers, it’d be milk chocolate first, then dark, then white. I’ll never turn down chocolate. Okay, I take that back. Dark chocolate above a certain percentage cacao is just gross.

LOL on the table thing. Yeah, home improvement projects all sound awesome until you get in the middle of it and realize how sore you are. My recent project of redoing the rock paths is stalled right now because of the rain, not the soreness, but man, do I ever feel it after lugging 40lb bags of marble chips.

I hope you’ve had a great day with Baby Slayer and his parents :).

    I’m dark chocolate!

    Have a nice evening :)!

Diane, so sorry for the late answer! It’s been nonstop for a few days around here. Dark chocolate is the best, isn’t it? I like some white chocolate, but some I find to be waxy.

Hope you’re having a great week!

Silver, pretty much my feeling on chocolate :-)

Baby Slayer was all the shades of awesome! Traffic really sucked–it took me an hour and a half to get there and nearly two hours to get home. But it was totally worth it!!!

We’re getting there on the tables. Hope you’re making progress on your book!

B.E., all true on chocolate. I only use the more bitter dark chocolate for baking where the sugar and butter balance it out.

Lugging 40 lb bags of marble chips would put me in traction right now! Wizard finished the sanding yesterday so today was a lot more fun. We’ll finish the tables tomorrow and, hopefully, the memory of all that sanding will fade like childbirth, LOL!

Now if I could get enough time to write (without too much soreness), that’d be lovely.

Hope you’re having a great week!

Viki, Baby Slayer was so sweet! He’s awake a bit more now, but we’re still trying to figure out his eye color. We had expected dark brown, but they appear lighter.

Dark chocolate is my fave too :-)

Hope you’re sick relatives are doing better now. I’ve been thinking about you.
