Weekend Roundup

Ugh, so as I’m trying to write this blog on Sunday night, there are about a dozen trolls in my stomach trying to punch their way out. I’ll be fine by the time this blog posts early Monday morning, it’s just my over sensitive stomach objecting to a couple of food choices. But this will be a short blog because right now, the trolls are winning :-)

Saturday, I got some writing done. I thought I’d have more time to shore up the scenes on Sunday, but Baby Slayer and his parents came over and stayed most of the day.  We had so much fun, it was totally worth a few lost writing hours! What’s really interesting is how much Baby Slayer is getting interested in Grandpa Wizard now. He’s always gravitated to me somewhat, but now he’s fascinated by Wizard and their bond is really beginning to grow. I love it!

And Maggie adores him! So far, she’s good with him too. Once they left, she was exhausted and crashed, LOL!

Today I’m writing, shoring up the scenes I wrote Saturday and then will keep moving forward on SAVAGED DEVOTION.

So that was my weekend, how was yours?

Sorry you were feeling gross last night. :hugs: I remember when I was young and could eat anything. Now? Getting older sucks. Yay for writing! Yay for Baby Slayer! Yay for Maggie!

I was a toad this weekend. My self-imposed deadline for having this first draft written is rapidly approaching and I can’t seem to muster the gumption. I did read a lot, though. In fact, I got sucked into this one book yesterday and had a tough time crawling out to do anything else. Hubs managed to tear me away for a walk, so that was good. But when we got home, it was right back to the book. I finally put it down to watch Endeavour on Masterpiece and then managed to leave it alone so I could go to bed. But it was tough.

Ugh. I hate when the stomach trolls invade. Bleech. But yay for Baby Slayer and Wizard. The bond between grands (son and father) are all kinds of awesome. Only took a picture (of which I don’t have a copy but should get one so I can post it!) of Lawyer Guy and Stormy walking out of the ball fields after the last T-ball game. They were way ahead of us and it was priceless.

I’m not going to hit my deadline which puts pressure on those I depend on to make sure my stuff is tight. Iffy did throw me a plot bone which helps but sometimes my brain works faster than my fingers. :-?

I really need to get off the net but I’ve been doing marketing stuff and crud like that. I’m hoping maybe this book won’t be as long as I think it should be, which means I’m closer to THE END than I think I am. That would be awesome!

    Okay. Back to work.

I hope your belly is feeling all better today. Stinks when something that tasted SO great causes havoc on the tummy.

Glad Baby Slayer came over and you all had such a wonderful time. Wizard must be on cloud nine with James really getting in to him ;).

Poor Maggie :). Babies can be very tiring. It’s nice that they are good with each other.

We had newest DIL’s dinner Saturday night at the Indian place. It was different but very good. As expected, Harrison stole the show :). He’s a really good baby.

Hope your week goes well :)!

B.E., I’m much better today, thanks!

Sounds like you needed a weekend off work. We all need a break. And yay for finding a book that captures you interest! I love those books!

Hope you had a productive Monday :-)

Silver, you have to get that pic! I love those moments.

Oh ugh, I feel for you on the deadline. All you can do is your best. FYI I keep praying to find a quicker way to my The End too. I know the feeling.

Hope you had a great Monday!

Viki, I’m much better today thanks.

Wizard is so happy! Maggie’s really cute with the baby, I hope he stays that way as he becomes mobile.

Glad DIL had a good late birthday dinner! But of course, Harrison stole the show! It what happens when you’re so cute and a good baby :-)

Hope your Monday is going well!

Did I miss them? I am still waiting for the completion of the Wing slayer Hunter series. Please tell me where to purchase the remaining books. Thanks. Virgie B.
