Yesterday, I went to a specialist to get a cervical collar fitted, and brought the contraption home with me. This surgery is getting a little too real. It’s just three weeks away now. I know I have to do it. The good news is that I was able to celebrate my son’s wedding! Once the official pictures were done, I put on my flat sandals, and by the end of the evening, I kicked those off to dance on the sand without causing myself any more harm, so yay! I’m pretty sure that love and sheer will fueled by joyful adrenaline made it possible.
Wizard and I are still beaming from our happiness for our son and his bride.
And now it’s time to evaluate another Wednesday Worthy candidate, and today I’m feeling the cowboy vibe 
He’s a little too polished for me, but I like the beard scruff and rolled up sleeves of his shirt.
But the real question is–what do you think?

Yeah, this one’s worthy enough. I do like me some cowboy eye candy. He could do with some chest hair, but no help for that now.

You and Wizard should be beaming with happiness over your son and DIL. What a lovely couple. Thank you for sharing photos. I’m glad you got to kick off your shoes and dance ;).
Getting the cervical collar fitted sure does bring it all in to focus. You know you’re doing what is best for you. But I still think you scheduled it on the 30th so you didn’t have to hand out Halloween candy ;).

Viki, thank you! We had an amazing time at the wedding, and we really like the bride’s family, so we’re lucky. I have no idea how I danced. Part of the time I was holding our grandson and just swaying around
That crossed my mind about scheduling the surgery on the 30th, LOL! I actually just took the date they had. The collar was a reality check, but it’s all going to work out.

I appreciate the good vibes too. I’m fairly confident, I just have those “Whoa” moments. But I’m believing it will work and I’ll be better off for having done it.
