Weekend Round
We had a great weekend. Everyone came over for Youngest birthday on Sunday. Turbo turned 11 months old yesterday, and he’s gone from beginning walker to an expert in a week. He was all over and having a great time. Of course it rained, and Wizard was out barbecuing tri tip and chicken in it, but he did a great job.
Today I’m going to try to go to the gym, I’d say there’s about a 50/50 chance I’ll actually go, especially if it’s raining 
I’m definitely writing today!

Yay for a great weekend! OMG, Turbo is growing so fast! 11 months already? Good luck with the gym. And Yay for writing! You go, girl.
We finally got most of the way through the viral fun and both feel like human beings this morning. I hope none of you get this – it’s a buttkicker. I did some writing last night and have the next scene firm in my head for today’s writing. Other than that, the weekend was spent laying around, watching TV and reading.

I’ve sort of been hibernating from the internet the past several days. Now I have oodles to catch up on. I did get over 600 words written based on a scene prompt during a workshop at my chapter meeting. It’ll turn into a book/novella at some point so that’s good. I’m still hip-deep in contest stuff. I’m hoping today/tomorrow wraps up the bulk of it. Getting nothing done on books I actually need to write. LOLOL
Our weather is tame compared to yours. It’s running hot and cold–literally–with a chance for winter mix and slick roads tomorrow. We had to put a new set of tires on LG’s truck. That blew the budget but now he’ll be safe on the roads so totally worth it.
Okay, time to skim through everything I’ve missed so I can finish up contest stuff and maybe actuallyl try to get new words on something that I should be working on.

Turbo is on fire :)! I love watching them just take off and explore.
Poor Wizard having to grill in the rain. That’s never fun. Glad it all turned out good. Oh, how were the cookies?
I hope you got to the gym. That would mean no rain, at least for a little while.
It’s been cold and snowy here. It was a little icy this morning but not too bad.
Nothing amazing happened over the weekend. Lots of laundry and cleaning :(.
Glad Maggie got out for a walk :).

Silver, you have a lot going on! Hope your scaling the contest mountain and can get on top of that. And yay for some writing.
Ugh on the tires! But the storm is headed your way, I think so much better for LG to have tires. While we’re having a lot of rain and cold, other parts of the country have it worse with killing cold.
Hope you have as much energy as Turbo and get everything done

Viki, it’s so fun watching our grandkids. Wizard survived grilling in the rain, and nope, I didn’t get to the gym. Wizard went and I took Maggie for a long walk. I’ll get back eventually.
Laundry and cleaning aren’t exciting, so I hope this week makes up for it with something amazing, fun and good!
