Wednesday Worthy

Apologies first: I’m sorry for not answering Monday’s blog. First thing Monday morning, I got the shot in my elbow tendonitis, and about an hour and half later, it was too sore to move. Even sitting still, that sucker ached. After 24 hours, it’s began steadily improving, but it was pretty bad, and therefore is probably going to take a few days to improve as much as I need it too. So, I’ve severely limited my time on the computer to rest it and let the cortisone work its medical magic. I really am sorry for not answering, but I read, and appreciate, each comment. And Silver, I’m glad you are safe from the tornadoes and weather, and hope you kick the crud soon.

I hope everyone out there is safe from the dangerous wild weather, and its aftermath.

Now for Wednesday Worthy. This shot is timely, as the hunk is moving…and my oldest son, CPA Boy and Special K just closed escrow on a new home! They bought a nicely remodeled existing house that is twice as big as their condo and has plenty of room their family :-) This is the news I teased a couple of weeks ago, then I decided to wait until they got the keys to mention it.

So here’s the hunk:

What do you think, is he worthy?

No worries. If you don’t reply to my comments, I just assume you got busy. Sorry to hear it was pain related. :hugs: As for storms, we’re safe. Everything so far has dropped a lot of rain on us, but nothing swirly. Whew.

That’s awesome news! And I understand why you waited to tell us – so much can go wrong with buying a house. I’m so happy nothing went wrong for them. Yay!

I definitely could’ve used him any of the many times we moved over the years. Yep, he’s worthy.

B.E., thanks, the pain is improving rapidly now. It’s that first 24 – 48 hours when the tendon gets super cranky after the shot. I’m very right hand dominant and simply overuse the tendon. I’m ordering a new brace to add some preventative measures. But hey, this isn’t serious like my neck was, so yay for that!

I’m so glad you’re okay after the storms. I knew you were close but wasn’t sure how close.

Yep, even though their loan was approved, things could still have gone wrong, so I waited until the ink dried on the docs and they had the keys. Special K did this house hunt in a very tight, low-inventory market, while finishing her degree–I wish I had her energy!

I could have used this guy to move us too! I find myself falling in love with my house all over again whenever I think about the work of moving :-)

    Hope your Wednesday rocks!

So sorry to hear that the elbow didn’t handle the shot all that nicely. Does it normally take that long for the pain to begin to ease?

Congratulations to Turbo and his parents :)! The first real house is such a big milestone. I am very happy for your family.

I’m borderline on this guy. Slightly worthy ;).

    Have a fantastic day!

Viki, it usually takes 24 hours, this one was probably the worst reaction. However, I’d let it get to the point where I couldn’t make a fist without wincing, so some of the blame is all mine. It’s much better today!

Turbo is going to love all the space to run and play! They have a nice condo, but just outgrew it for their family.

I’m with you, I’m borderline on the guy. I like him okay but the pose bugs me. However if he wants to help me move next time, I’m good with that :-)

    Have a great Wednesday!
