Hi guys, it’s me, Maggie.
I’m blogger-talkin’ from the outside place where the trashcans live. Do you see me?
So, I’ve been standing here now for 45 minutes. I know that cuz my mom came outside and said, “Maggie, you’ve been standing here for 45 minutes.”
And I’m like, “Yeah, mom, I know! On account of I’m waiting for you or Wizard-dad to move the trashcan! There’s a lizard hiding under there and I gotta find him! It’s a game!”
My mom got a funny look on her face and went in the house. Then I heard her and Wizard-dad talking, and saying words like: That dog is a serial killer of lizards. We need an intervention.
Sigh.
I am not a serial killer–whatever that is. I’m a nice girl, a sweet dog who loves, LOVES, playing hide and seek with my friends, allll the lizards. When they run or hide, I seek. I’m getting really good too! I tag them with my teeth or claws, and they stop running!
But I’m not a serial lizard killer. Cuz that sounds kind of mean, and I’m not mean. I know that for sure because I went to my Dr. Veterinarian today and she pronounced me, “Healthy and sweet”. All medically official with her Dr. title and everything! And she gave me treats which proves I’m a good girl, am I right? I love Dr. Veterinarian!
Also, what’s an intervention? Maybe my mom and Wizard-dad need one?
Anyhow, that’s what I’m doing today. What are you all doing?

You’re a good girl, Maggie. You just need to learn to be more gentle with your lizard friends. They break easy and then they’re no fun to play with anymore. My old dog used to always want to have fun with his little birdie and bunny friends, but when he accidentally broke them, he was always so sad. Of course, he was a much bigger dog than you, but you’re stronger than you think you are. And they are so much smaller than you.
Not much going on around here. I started a sekrit project that I might work on. I’m going total no-pressure on myself, so maybe I can actually finish something this year. We’ll see. Definitely not having as much fun here as you are with your lizards. ;o)

Awww, Maggie! You are sweet. But B.E. is right. Sometimes, doggos don’t realize that their friends are small and easily broken. Plus, lizards don’t taste good. Besides, isn’t it more fun to seek and chase than seek and catch? Big Jake is learning this too. Of course, it’s hard with Loki, the Demon Kitten God of Mischief and Mayhem, wanting to play with doggo tails. Poor Old Boone just goes and hides until Loki finds him, then he has to get up and go find another place to hide so he can take his naps.
I’m going to get some work done. Not sure what kind of work but something. And maybe join Old Boone for a nap.

Maggie you sure are patient. I don’t think I could have waited 5 minutes let alone 45 for the garbage can to be moved so the lizard could come out and play. You’re a really good girl. Your mom and Wizard-dad are fortunate to have you and you them. Lots of obvious love here :).
Very glad to hear all went well at the Dr. Keep up the good healthy activities.
We’ve all just hoping for the best with my middle son and DIL’s kitty. She is very sick and the doctor doesn’t know what is wrong. I hope you never sick.

B.E., you know what? My Dr. Veterinarian said I was really strong too. I’ll try to be more gentle because I don’t want to break my friends.
Mom says to tell you that we have to remember how to have fun with our writing. She’s working on that too. She also said she can’t wait to hear about your secret project when you’re ready to share.

Silver, I bet I’d like Jake a lot! But I’d probably, for reals, not turn my back on Loki. Cats are fast and kind of sneaky like. AT least Corner Cat is. Did you know he hides in the bushes and growls at me when I walk by? Isn’t that sneaky?
I’m sure Loki is much nicer than Corner Cat.
Sounds like Poor Old Boone knows a lot about cats. Smart dogs just move out of their way.
Hope you got your work done! I had to rest today because Mom said my leg is sore. But I got treats so I don’t mind. Maybe you can have a nap and treats

Viki, my mom is worried about your son’s cat, and all of you being sad that he’s so sick. Wish the Dr. Veterinarian could make him better. I hope the kitty gets better and so does mom.
I love my lizard friends and will wait a real long time to play with them. Gosh they are so fast, Viki, you would be amazed. Super fast even!
And thanks, I’m so glad my mom and Wizard-dad found me. The very first day I saw them, I ran right to them and rolled over for belly rubs. I guess I sort of recognized them as my family
