We had a nice weekend. Rain is moving in, but the weekend was actually beautiful with coolish weather and clouds dotting clear skies. We are surrounded by hills that are gorgeous in this kind of weather. About mid-August, it’s just dry and barren.
Anyway, Saturday we went out to visit out grandson, Tubro. Here’s a pic of the two of us. As soon as Turbo saw that his mom was taking a pic, he pulled back and posed, which made me flash my crazy, demented smile 
My head looks as big as a horse’s but the important thing is Turbo, LOL! Also, I got to see CPA boy for about 15 minutes too, and he looks fantastic. The last two tax seasons took a toll on him due to things beyond his control, but this year is going better. He’s striving to take care of himself and keep up with his workouts to manage his stress and pressure. Of course, we all know the real secret is having a great partner in life, Special K.
Sunday we headed back out to middle son’s to see him and his wife (both CPA Boy and Middle son live an hour or more away, depending on traffic). Maggie came with us and played with her cousin pups, Jett and Hazel. Maggie’s getting better with them, and she adores Middle Son and my daughter in law! Both days were so lovely. As I’m writing this blog Sunday afternoon, Wizard headed over to Youngest son’s to give him a hand with something at his house, which means he gets to see all three boys in one weekend. I stayed home to write this blog See? You all are important to me too.
So that was my weekend with no words written 
Friday was a frustrating writing day, but it’s a new week with endless potential!

I’m so glad you had a lovely, if busy, weekend. Yay for you and Turbo. (Your head does not look as big as a horse’s, silly girl.) Yay for Maggie! And just a general Yay for everything. =o)

It was a lovely weekend here, if a bit windy. I got some major garden work done. Not a lot of writing, but that’s okay. Today it’s raining, so I’ll be stuck inside. Might bake something. Dunno. It’s not like we NEED more baked goods. LOL

LOL! I love that Turbo poses, and you look awesome. SpecK caught you laughing and that’s wonderful. Yay for Maggie. Yay for kid visits, even if you didn’t get to see Youngest.
Saturday was crazy-crammed and when LG and I got home, he hit the couch and I hit the bed. LOOOONG naps! DST alwyas messes us up so Sunday was sort of laid back lazy. Not sure how much I’ll get done today. Woke up with a wonky tummy and today is my weekly Stormy date for pickup after school and his OT appointment.

I love the photo! You look way too young to be grandma to sweet Turbo. Isn’t cute how they are so aware of the camera, even though it’s a phone, and pose right away 🥰?
How nice that you got to see two of the three boys and Wizard was able to see all three. That makes a perfect weekend. Oh, and Maggie had a great weekend too. So happy she got to come along.
I’m sure you need rain and are happy it’s coming. Today it’s in the upper 60’s, so strange for the beginning of March. Tomorrow rain comes in and the temperature will drop back to the low 30’s. Can we say roller coaster😜.
I don’t think I answered you on my water. No, I cannot adjust things with the new system. It’s always “supposed” to be spot on. I have to call and have them come out if things go bad.
Dinner with middle and DIL Saturday was what I was expecting. They are buying a house. They can actually see it from their apartment window. They were afraid to tell us because it’s 110 yrs old and will need care. I think it’s sweet. It’s on a corner lot and is three stories not counting the basement. I think it was an old farm house because it looks like one and it’s less than 1/2 a mile from the lake which is prime planting location.
By the way, that burger sounds yummy. I must look up how to make the fig marmalade. I bet it’s delicious on chicken too.

Silver, thanks! It was a nice weekend overall.
I know Daylight savings is hard on you (and lot of other people too!). Add in a jam packed Saturday, and it’s no wonder Sunday was a couch day.

Viki, I’m amazed how little kids can be so aware of the camera! Now if only I could get Maggie to pose like that, LOL!
It does seem to be roller coaster weather around the country. Crazy! Which, of course, doesn’t help immune systems resist the various cruds going around.
Well crap, I was hope you had a little leeway to control the taste. We are just hooked up to city water here, so I have little knowledge of your system. But i’d sure be frustrated if I had bad tasting water after I paid for a new system!
Congratulations to your middle son and daughter in law! They must be so excited, and it sounds like they are up to the challenge of a 110 year old house. I think it’s awesome! It’s going to be a big year for them, and you must be very proud! Home ownership is such a big step, and it sounds like they’ve put real thought into this. I also love that they care so much what YOU think! It shows up much they value your opinion.
I was amazed how much I enjoyed the burger. I do trust my daughter in law’s suggestions. I hadn’t thought of trying to make the marmalade at home. If you do and it turns out well, let me know.
