Wednesday Rainy Randomness

So I just walked into a wall. That’s gonna leave a bruise. Good thing it’s my upper forearm rather than my face that took the brunt of it.

I blame Maggie.

So it’s been raining all day, and Maggie doesn’t do rain. I have to drag her out on a leash or use the trick of getting her into the car and taking her to a favorite spot. So anyway, the rain had stopped for a while and I was trying to get her to come outside with me. She jumped off her chair, came part way, then noticed it was still damp outside and turned around.

I turned to look at her and BAM, I smacked my left forearm right into the corner of the wall and sent a jolt of Ouch through much of my upper body.

Honestly, I need supervision at all times. Or I either get into trouble, chocolate or manage hurt myself. True Story.

Also, someone needs to tell Wizard to stop laughing :-(

Speaking of blame, this weekend, Wizard announced, “Witch, you got me addicted to coffee.”

I laughed in his face. “Wizard, I’ve made the same pot of coffee the same way for three decades. For two and a half of those decades, you only drank a half cup on weekends. Think hard now, what’s changed?”

“You did it. I know you did.”

Men!

So how’s your Wednesday going?

P.S. I had a whole other ranty blog written, but when I told Wizard about it at dinner, he strongly suggested I delete it. So I did. I’m really ranty when it’s rainy and I don’t get my usual amount of exercise.

P.S.S. I’m gonna have a bruise on my arm, how can I make this Wizard’s fault? He wasn’t even in the same room…he just heard the thud. Suggestions??

He was breathing and it distracted you?

Oh, ouch. At least you’ll be able to remember where this bruise came from. I’m forever finding bruises and wondering where the heck I got them. Tell Wizard you got tripped up by the negative vibes he was throwing. Sure, the negative vibes weren’t thrown until after you hurt yourself, but negative vibes from the future are a thing. Totally. ROFL.

Heh, retired guy becomes addicted to coffee. Welcome to the coffee addict club! Yay!

I often type ranty blogs and delete them. Occasionally, I let them fly.

Today is rainy and I need to go to Wallyworld, but I don’t want to. I’ll probably get some gumption together soon and just do it. The time change is making me cranky. And I need more coffee. Have a great day! :hugs:

Ouch! I do that all the time. And it’s Wiz’s fault because HE’S the one who should have been trying to get Maggie to go outside. *nods*

LG was the coffee drinker when we met. I made it for him, didn’t drink the nasty stuff. Then he dragged me to New Orleans the first time. (He had a business meeting and I was on my own!) I had cafe au lait and beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Now I drink almost a pot of coffee a day and he drinks maybe two cups. True story.

    I hate spring colds.

And now I need my next cup. I think it’s only my 2nd. Might be my 3rd. My brain is still reeling from the DST change. I won’t be able to function for another hour or so.

    Happy Hump Day!

I agree with Silver. If Wizard had been working at getting Maggie to go outside you would not have smacked your arm. Therefore – ALL WIZARD’s FAULT 🤣. I do hope that your arm is feeling better.

Men are so funny never realizing how they can change and that it’s not us messing with them. Sometimes I really wonder what God was thinking.

I went for a massage today. Boy did it help but once I sat down at the computer my arm started to have a fit. Maybe I ought to take a computer break and see what happens.

I hope you have a really nice Wednesday!

Marianne, LOL! That would be enough to distract me on some days.

B.E., true! I come up with bruises that are a total mystery.

LOL, retirement definitely fueled his coffee addition.

I’m trying not to rant, but I’m sure it’ll escape my control at some point :-)

Walmart’s not my favorite trek rain or shine. Hope you were able to get it done and off your mind.

Silver, yes! I’ll blame Wizard for not taking her outside himself :-) That works!

Coffee is seductive! And I’ve read so much about I had cafe au lait and beignets at Cafe Du Monde! I want to go just to try it.

Ugh, you have a cold? Hope you feel better soon.

More coffee is the only way to deal with the time change!

Viki, I have a small knot and bruise on my arm, but was able to work out on it fine, including (girl) pushups so it’s good. But Wizard’s fault for sure!

I was amused at Wizard blaming me for his coffee addiction. I secretly never wanted to share MY coffee so why would I get him addiction? LOL!

Glad the massage help, but if the computer is causing arm pain (from your shoulder?) taking a break from the computer is the best thing to do. It’s also very hard to do.

    Happy Late Wednesday!
