Maggie Attempts Social Distancing

Hi Guys, it’s me Maggie. Do you see? I’m Social Distancing.

My mom explained to me what it means, and how it’s super important right now. So on our walk, I sat down to let other people pass by at a safe distance. I was good at it too! But then…I saw one of my bestest friends ever–one of the really cool (human) girls who live across the street from me. I forgot all about social distancing and ran right up to her, and I kind of wiggled all of her in happiness.

I was real sorry when I realized my mistake.

But then Mom told me it’s okay, because doggies aren’t the sick ones, and that I made my bestest friend ever happy today which is an important job too, and I felt much better.

So I told you guys all my story because I want you all to know that I’m trying real hard to help make all humans feel better.

Awwww! Sending virtual hugs and pets and kisses, Maggie! You are a Very Good Girl! Making your people happy is very important right now. And making sure your Mom and Dad get out in the sunshine and get some exercise is also very important! Thank you for being you. 💖

Jake is very sad that he doesn’t get to go to the store or out to eat anymore. He does get to ride when we do takeout but it’s not the same. Hopefully, life will get back to normal sooner than later!

Maggie you are such a sweetheart. You made your neighbor very happy. I’m happy your mom explained that it’s the humans that have to stay apart right now. You can give out all the kisses your mom will allow.

You have a very nice place to walk and get exercise too. It’s very nice of you to make sure mom gets out and enjoys fresh air with you. You are a very good dog.

I went out yesterday after calling PetPeople to make sure they had my cat’s food. The only had one case left. So I asked them to pull it and I’d be right there. We did the transfer in a safe “distance” manner :).

    Stay safe and healthy!

Silver, thank you! I drag mom out as much as I can!

I feel sorry for Jake not being able to go to the stores, but riding in the car is fun too.

Viki, thanks, I’m good at getting mom to take me out. Me and Wizard-Dad laugh about it together :-)

I’m very glad dogs don’t get people sick because I probably would forget not to touch my mom a lot.

It’s a good think you were able to be safe while buying cat food. I hope you stay well!
