Hunk or Dog?
Sorry for the late post, there was a publishing malfunction 
True story, I had to deal with an off leash pit bull mix and a German shepherd mix in the field yesterday. I’m not going to lie, I was scared, or at least I was once I got Maggie and I safely out of there. I had no idea that those dogs actually had owners until I was nearly out of the field and saw the couple–I’m not kidding–hanging back on the other side of some brush so they didn’t have to deal with the owner who leashes and controls her dog.
So I’m over people today.
I’d pick the dog. How about you?

First, I can’t stand people anymore! How dare those creeps endanger their own dogs and yours. If something had happened, even if mild, those pups would be put down. So unfair of the “humans” I rather call them monsters.
Now, I’m taking both ;). The pup is sweet and the guy has the pup therefore he’s a good one.
I hope today is a good day for you and Maggie. By the way, is there a photo of Maggie and her new collar coming soon?

I am so tired of all the stupid in the world. I keep hoping Darwin’s Law will kick in. And I’m afraid I would not have ignored the lurkers.
Me: I see you!
Them:
Me: What are you, five?
Them:
Me: Bless your hearts. You must have lost at hide-n-seek all. The. Time.
Them:
Me: And the next time I see your dogs running loose, I’m calling animal control. Y’all have a nice day, now, hear?
But that’s my inner southern woman/steel magnolia showing. 🤣 I am VERY thankful that both you and Maggie are safe. Let’s hope your next walk is less fraught with stuffs like that there! 💖

Viki, yep, I felt the same way. I wasn’t mad at the dogs, but I do worry about rattlers and coyotes too. These people did not even have sight of their dogs.
Most people I meet on walks are awesome, I was just really rattled by this event. I wish people understood dog behavior better, if Maggie had broken her training and went into small dog bark mode, that could have triggered a fight.
I’ve taken a bunch of pictures of Maggie, but she hates them all
She’s terrible at having her pic takens. I’ll show some soon though.

Silver, I wish you’d been there to say all that! By the time I saw those people, I was pretty worked up. I’m a Leo, and definitely have a temper. I was much more likely to antagonistic than constructive and I couldn’t see that ending well. PWhat pissed me off is that the dogs deserve better owners than that.
Our walk today was perfect, thanks! Overall, we rarely have issues.
And just in case anyone thinks I don’t like pit bulls, the opposite is true. I have two grandpuppies that are pit mixes and I loved them to death. I have zero fear of them. And I love German shepherds too. A GS is my dream dog, but Maggie is the perfect real life dog for me
