The weekend was good. I made Youngest his cookies, then went and hung out with him late Saturday afternoon. When I made Youngest’s cookies, I made a few small ones that I took to Turbo on Sunday. Wziard had somewhere else to go, so I got lots of Turbo time 
An aside here, when I went to see Youngest, I lost track of time, so I called Wizard when I left, hoping he’d thought to take the meat we were going to BBQ out of the fridge. But he was way ahead of me. He’d taken it out in plenty of time, and was putting it on the BBQ as I’d called. He also fed Maggie, emptied the dishwasher and set the table. All I had to do when I got home was cook up some rice and broccoli and dinner was done. I so appreciate being married to an adult. He figured I was enjoying myself, I’d be home soon since I was only 10 minutes away and he’d get things started.
I also finished my edit, and will do one more pass on the scenes that obsessive-compulsive revising disorder forced me to change when I was supposed to be just editing. Crossing my fingers I can finish that today and send it off.
The only downside is we’ve had higher than normal humidity for us, and that’s sapping my energy. I absolutely don’t feel sick, it’s just a combination of humidity and insomnia bugging my RA. It tends to vanish as fast as it appears as long as I stay on my meds, eat decent, exercise and watch my stress. Otherwise, it was a good weekend. How was yours?

Wizard is awesome. But you already knew that. Yay for hanging out with Youngest and also for getting loads of Turbo time. OCRD… it’s a thing. Fingers crossed for you. Ugh on the humidity and feeling bleh. I totally hear ya there. Take care of yourself. :hugs:
It was a nothing weekend here. I did some cleaning. And I read a bunch. During this whole ‘rona thing we’re getting channels we don’t usually get, so I spent time watching a Cold Justice marathon on Oxygen. Otherwise, it’s been too hot to do anything unless I get motivated to do it first thing in the morning. Heh, fat chance. Seriously, though, I need to get off my buns today. Go out and do some shopping, do some more cleaning… stuffs.

How nice of you to make a few smaller cookies to bring to Turbo. I bet BLB was thrilled to get his cookies too ;). Our boys are SO excessively loved aka spoiled :).
Did Turbo wear you out? Just watching Harrison on FaceTime tires me out. Little people are so filled with energy. How I wish I had some.
You have one fantastic hubby in Wizard. Mine would never even think of helping me out like that. Instead, he’d most likely offer to get pizza and have me do all the unfinished work and cooking the next day.
You are so funny with the OCRD. Well, did you make it through the check today without revising anything? I hope so ;).
I feel your discomfort and pain. It never occurred to me that the humidity was a factor but since you mentioned it – WOW – it is.

What B.E. and Viki said! Ditto. I’m home from “babysittting” the Post this morning. Plumbers done for now, election board inspector satisfied with space for tomorrow’s election, and a nice old vet with a few minutes reprieve from caregiving his wife dropped in. He petted Jake, supervised the plumbers, and we visitied for a bit.
There was a weekend. I cleaned the bathrooms at the Post for a deal Saturday night. At least I’d taken my rubber gloves. LOLOL I also took naps. I didn’t cook. I cook all week. I get take out on Saturday and Sundays. That’s been our deal since we got back from the honeymoon.
And seriously, I think that’s all I did. All weekend. I’m so boring.
Time to get something productive done. … … Maybe.

That’s cool you’re getting additional channels. And really good that you’re reading. That’s my goal is to read more in addition to the books I listen to on audio. Hope you were able to check off some things on your to do list today before it got too hot!

Viki, I agree, our boys are spoiled! Truthfully, I set the goal of baking cookies for BLB to keep myself from sitting too long at the computer too.
Right there with you on energy and the little ones! Had to laugh at Harrison wearing you out just watching him on video–I’ve felt the same way watching Turbo. And yep, I was tired when I got home, but at least Turbo didn’t cry when I left, so that was a plus. He just waived and blew me a kiss.
Like I told B.E., I literally just sent off the manuscript so I finally won the OCRD battle. I just want to make it better, LOL! But once I get her notes, I’ll get another chance.
I’ve often wondered how you tolerate living in the humidity. I almost always feel it. I hope overall, you’re feeling pretty good. And hope you had a nice weekend!

Silver, Wow you had a busy weekend and Monday! Got a lot accomplished.
I winced at you cleaning the bathrooms the Post. I’d rather do almost anything else. You’re a better woman than I am!
Yay Jake for making yet another new friend! I bet seeing a Jake and you was a nice break for the guy since it sounds like he’s living with stress caring for his wife.
I’m always for getting a break from cooking!
