Maggie and The Case of the Vanishing Blanket

Hi guys, it’s me, Maggie! I has a story. So one day, I jumped in my chair and found it like this:

This is not my chair blanket! I don’t know who took it or why. Isn’t that weird? I ended up having to do this sad face for hours while I pondered the case of the missing blanket.

By the way, I checked my kennel, my dog beds, and the couch I’m sometimes allowed to get on, but no blanket.  So I got back in my chair, and worried that maybe Corner Cat got into the house and stole it. Corner Cat is super sneaky. He hides in the bushes at the corner house, and hisses or jumps out. Probably, he’s a Ninja Cat.

My mom finally noticed my sad face, and she went into the room with the big machines and found it! Guys we found my blanket!

Can you all see my serious face here? I’m watching to make sure the blanket snatcher doesn’t return and hide my blanket in the big white machine again.

So glad the mystery is solved, Maggie! Having the right blanket is very important. *nods sagely*

And you are wise to worry about the Ninja cat on the corner. Loki is also a Ninja cat, but he hides under the bed to dash out to smack paws, tails, and toes. Cats are like that, yeah they are. ;)

Oh Maggie, I am so happy you were able to locate your blanket. It’s good to keep you eyes out for the blanket snatcher. You never know when the snatcher may return.

I’m thinking the snatcher may be like the tooth fairy but freshens blankets. Maybe the snatcher took a little longer than planned so decided to leave another blanket on your chair until your blanket was ready. If not, it was likely corner cat.

I hope you have great day and are cozy on your chair and blanket.

Silver, it was a big mystery, but we solved it so I have my blanket back.

You must be really brave to have a ninja cat like Loki!

Viki, I know! Blanket snatchers are sneaky like corner cat.

Hmm, my blanket did smell different when I got it back, but I don’t know why exactly. I’ll ponder it after my nap :-)

Yay, Maggie! I’m so glad your mom rescued your blanket from the sneaky thieves who took it. I bet it was that darn ol’ cat. Cats can be like that sometimes.
