Saturday was fun, we went to visit Turbo. He’s a bundle of toddler energy. His dad was telling me a story of a day he was alone with Turbo that involved a spilled box of macaroni, followed by chocolate milk. The disasters were multiplying faster than my son could keep up. I may have laughed a little too hard. I mean I remember the day I was trying to quickly wipe up bathrooms while the baby (Middle Son) was sleeping. I soon realized my three-year-old was too quiet, and when I went into the kitchen, I discovered my floor was a lake. Oldest was filling cups of water from the refrigerator and pouring them on the floor. If I remember right, he wanted to make a swimming pool. So yeah, I laughed at Turbo’s toddler mayhem and his dad’s frantic attempts to keep up with him!
Sunday I wanted to chew my own arm off from the frustration of trying to figure out this revision. Today I’m back at it, determined to figure it out. I will win this battle after the characters make me bleed from aggravation. Seems like a fair tradeoff.

LOL, toddlers. I do not miss those days. Of course, all the other stages aren’t any easier, including adulthood. ;o) Sorry your book is giving you fits. I believe in you.
Another quiet weekend at Sanderson, Inc., LLC. More zucchini bread was made, the deck and its gutters were cleared of leaves, and I vegged out more than I should’ve.

I don’t miss the toddler days either but they’re so much more fun as a grandparent!
Revisions are sometimes harder than actually writing the first draft. You’ll get there!
We had a weekend. Sort of. I slept a lot on Saturday. I got some new words written on Sunday, plus my heroine demanded a name change. Originally, she was Jennifer “Jen/Jenny” Hall. Now she’s Geneva “Gen” Pruitt. She’s happy. Maybe she’ll let me continue the story without fighting me every step of the way.

Oh the fun little ones have making messes. I think all if us moms have (now fond) memories of our kids mixing things or just plane having fun making a mess. When Harrison’s mom asks him who is going to clean up the mess, he always replies, “Mommy.”
So glad you were able to get to see Turbo and have so much fun. We stayed away from all of them again ;).
Youngest is heading to CO Wednesday to see friends. I am praying that they are all careful and stay healthy. They plan on lots of mountain hikes. Outside is a good place for them to be.

B.E. yeah, toddlers are work, but they are entertaining for grandparents, LOL!
The book will get there, I worked a little today and did other things which is usually helpful.
Do you freeze the zucchini bread? And come winter, you will be glad to have cleaned the gutters. Still it’s an icky job.

Silver, I usually think revisions are easier than the first draft, but me and struggle are fast friends, so this is nothing new.
I hope you got caught up on rest Saturday. Sometimes you push yourself too hard and need the downtime. Yay for new words on Sunday, and the “right” name for the heroine. That has happened to me, and once I got the name right, things moved along. Hope that happens for you too!

Viki, Harrison reminds me of Middle Son when he was that age! He’d say the same thing, LOL!
I hate that you guys don’t get to spend more time with Harrison right now. This virus is causing such damage all around. But Facetime is good too!
I’ll add my prayers for Youngest. I hope he has a good time, and stays safe and healthy. As moms we always worry, and yet, we want them to have all the experiences young adults should.
