Our weekend was amazing, and I had a great birthday. The kids brought all the food, and there was nothing for me to do except get out of their way (I know that because they told me to get out of the kitchen and go play with Turbo, LOL). I appreciate it all so much. Every single one of them touched my heart with their thoughtfulness; my three sons, my truly wonderful daughter-in-laws, and of course, Wizard. Turbo made it extra special by baking Grandma cookies with his parents help. They sent me videos and it was adorable 
Plus he was super excited to tell me Happy Birthday Grandma. Too cute.
Anyway, it was a jewel of a weekend in a difficult year and I’m grateful.
Today, I’ll be tackling the revisions once more. No more slacking! I may be dragging a little bit, but that’s what the miracle brew coffee is for!

We had a good one, mostly. Stormy spending Friday night was fun. LG was up early for the pancake breakfast and Stormy, Jake and I arrived about 9:45. Food was awesome, company (Baseball Boy joined us, Only was off on a girl’s day out), then I came home and LG went to siren test. He came home and crashed. Me too. Long naps, every many for himself dinners, and then Sunday. We tried a new-to-us Mexican restaurant. Yeah…nope. We’ll keep looking for one close to home. I wrote new words, he napped. And now it’s Monday again.

Don’t you just love it when the little guys make stuff. Harrison is always cooking and baking too. We get videos and photos like you did. They are keepers.
Glad that the entire family celebrated your birthday with you. How nice that you we “off” and was Turbo’s playmate :).
Are you guys safe from the fires? I keep seeing some very nasty ones on the news.
Our weekend was slow. Hubs went over to “see” Harrison before youngest gets home and we’re banned for 2 weeks. She won’t even allow through a window because youngest went to CO. Her rules, we will follow.

Silver, your Friday/Saturday were busy! I’m glad you had fun with Stormy, and at the pancake breakfast. It’s also great that your daughter gets some girl time with her friends. But so sorry the Mexican restaurant wasn’t for you guys.

Viki, I do love it when the little ones bake with their parents and/or us. I’m sure Harrison is a great helper in the kitchen.
I didn’t mind being banished from the kitchen at all, and I appreciated the Turbo time. It’s truly takes a village to keep up with him, LOL!
Yes, we are safe, thank you. It’s bad, but it’s not near us. I pray that everyone in that area, and the firefighters are safe. I haven’t been following the news yet today, I’ll catch up tonight.
You and Hubs are in a tricky situation, and doing all you can to keep connected to Harrison. I really admire you for following their rules, and hopefully Harrison’s parents appreciate it too and once this virus is contained, they’ll happily give you all the access you want. I think of you guys when we’re with Turbo. His parents are very protective, but view immediate family as essencial, so we are extremely fortunate.
I hope Youngest comes home with stories of a wonderful time!

My weekend was good. My new push to get off my lead butt is working. Four days straight of writing and four days straight of doing something active. Plus, I’ve started reading again. =o)
