Happy Wednesday!
You know, part of me was dreading this birthday where I turn another decade older. It’s one of the few times a number bothered me. But then, being a fairly typical Leo, I thought, “Screw this.” I took a picture of myself, posted it on FB essentially saying, this is me ready to take on me 60’s.
And you know what? I felt better! This is another decade ready for me to make it any kind of success I want to make it. Sometimes all it takes is reframing the issue bothering us into an opportunity to do something amazing. It doesn’t have to be splashy amazing, it only has to matter to YOU.
So let’s all go make our next decade amazing!

Look at you, girl! You go!!!! And you are soooo right! (Says the old broad who is looking at her 7th decade next year…)
My big “ouch” was 21. It meant I had to start adulting. Ugh! 30 was a breeze. I was sooo ready to get out of my 20s. Yes, I’m weird.

When I first read the post early this morning I started out with, Oh no. Jenn’s bummed about 60. Then I kept reading and cheered! Screw it is the perfect answer. The way I look at it, we don’t look anywhere near 60, so embrace it. By the way, I love your photo. You look so beautiful :).

Silver, I’m having a hard time believing you’re even close to the 7th decade! But I can see where that number would mess with your head a bit (if we let it!)
But 21 cracks me up
30 was easy for me too.
I’m all for slaying dragons, or befriending them! Whatever makes our lives better.

Viki, aw thank you so much! You definitely don’t look it. But these days, I try to focus on feeling good over worrying how I look.
We will take on this decade and make it sing!

Happy Birthday!! I’m with Viki, you don’t look anywhere near 60. And Silver doesn’t look like she’s approaching 70. No clue how old Viki is but she looks awesome, too. Am I the baby here at 52? :shrug: Doesn’t matter. I’m in good company when I stop by. We witches rock.
