It was a long but good weekend. I did a ton of cooking and running around getting ready to have oldest, Special K and Turbo over Sunday. Once they were here, we had fun! Turbo was so good. I can’t believe how tall he’s getting. He’s growing up so fast. It was nice to just spend some time with Oldest and family. Special K took some of her cake home, which makes me happy.
I’m tired Sunday night as I’m writing this, so this is the shortest roundup in history
How was your weekend?

Full weekends make for short updates. LOL Glad your family time was so rewarding!
My weekend was also short. Good baseball, bad football, no soccer (my bad when it comes to reading the schedule 🤦🏼♀️ ) and some headway on the MS. First edits came back. Those are now underway and I did get 3 book graphics set up. All I need now is the cover and to finish edits and formatting! Gonna be a busy week.

I’m glad you had a nice, if busy, weekend. I can’t believe how old Turbo is getting to be. Time flies, eh? Yay for cake!
Weekends are always too short. I finished proofing a friend’s novel and sent it back to her. I did some work in the woods – during which I twisted my knee, so that put the kybosh on any other activity ’til it heals. I made a twist on a recipe and it didn’t turn out (edible, especially slathered in warm jam, but I won’t be doing it again). I also made pizza which did turn out, so yay. Today, I need to get back to editing my own stuff, but instead of getting right to that, I made homemade chicken noodle soup.

Spending time with family is the best even if it’s exhausting. So happy that you all got together.
Harrison and family were here Sat so C and A came over too. All was good.
Harrison got to go to the induction ceremony and see Ozzy. He’s loved Ozzy since he was about 2.
Took hubs to the VA hearing test today. Should hear back from them in about a month.
Have a great day!

Silver, busy weekends sure wear me out more than they used to! I’m not doing much today and tomorrow will be good as new!
Yay for baseball, not so much for football and Oops on soccer. We had a snafu one week on reading the baseball schedule for Turbo, so I know how easy it can happen!
Awesome on first edits! They aren’t fun to do but so necessary. And congrats on finding the images to do the graphics! You’re getting to the publish and promote line!
Hope your busy week goes smoothly!

B.E., Turbo is growing up so fast now. I’m glad we’re going to sneak in a mini trip with him in a couple weeks before he’s too old to really engage with us.
Yay for getting the book proofed for the friend (pretty sure I know who, LOL).
Bummer on twisting your knee. That plain sucks and slows up down. But if you rest it, it will heal.
It’s good to try out our twists on recipes. It’s a great feeling when they work, and when they don’t, no one gets hurt
Homemade chicken noodle soup is important! Then you can edit! Happy Monday!

Viki, it is the best, and about 60% of the exhaustion is usually me trying to do too much. It always sounds reasonable in my head, it’s the execution that gets me every time, LOL.
Yay for the visit with Harrison and family! Sounds like Hubs did well.
It’s awesome that Harrison got to see Ozzy!
Wow a month? That’s a long time, but at least you have it done.
I hope your week is off to a good start.
