Weekend Roundup
Well we had plans, then I ruined them by getting sick. Or sicker. Or something 
Either my cold turned worse, or I picked up a second virus at jury duty where we were packed into a room like sardines. Anyway, we skipped Turbo’s baseball game, which was a bummer. Then we had planned to have Middle, his wife and Baby Girl out Sunday, and cancelled that. Instead, Wizard went out there, which I was happy about since he hasn’t seen them in a while.
On the upside, I bought a book that I really enjoying to help pass the time!

Ack. Sorry you were felled by the crud. I’m glad Wizard got to see the baby, though. And yay for a good book. :hugs:
We got some happy news that led to some activity over the weekend, but I can’t do more than be vague about it yet. The rest of the weekend was spent working on getting this book ready to send to betas. I finished one draft and started the next, so not long now. Other than, I was eating, watching TV, and reading… yes, I finally started reading again. Yay!

Well, bummer of the ickies and no baseball. Glad Wiz got to see Baby Girl, though. Hope you’re feeling a bit better by now. If not, stay in bed and enjoy your book. I saw where LA had a 3.9 during the Oscar red carpet. I had to laugh a little and wonder if Mother Nature was there to party.
We didn’t make the soccer games Friday night. Stormy’s teams won and he made a goal. Saturday was siren test and we had burgers with Only and Stormy. Baseball Boy had a game. I listened to radio and then got to watch college softball and baseball. OSU Cowgirls/Cowboys rocked the diamonds this weekend!
LG had a procedure scheduled at VA this morning at the buttcrack of oh-dark. He had to have a driver to get home so Jake and I were there. I am now totally peopled out for the week.

I’m sorry you took a turn for the worse with that nasty cold. It is nice that Wizard got to go see baby girl and her parents.
I feel bad that you missed Turbo’s baseball game. The good thing is, there are many more 🥰.
Silver and I are on the same wave length about the earthquake. I was thinking the same thing – Mother Nature came out to play. Happy that it was a 3.9 and no one was hurt.
Nothing special happened here over the weekend.

Silver, thanks. I heard about the earthquake but didn’t feel it. I guess Mother Nature wasn’t partying very hard
Hope nothing was wrong to keep you guys home from Stormy’s soccer game. Congrats to him and his team for winning and his goal! (I originally wrong “foal” which amused me probably because I’m high on cold meds).
I hope LG’s procedure was flawless and he has a quick recovery. Wishing you and Jake a quick recovery from the brutally early morning and forced socializing too

Viki, thanks, it was so weird the way the cold just turned. Wizard’s convinced made myself sicker by washing all the floors. I’m not convinced, but I did rest over the weekend and make him happy.
He had a blast with Baby Girl and family. I’m sooo glad he went.
Hope the earthquake brought some excitement to the show
Fortunately, a 3.9 generally doesn’t do any real damage which is always a good thing. The only thing I worry about is it being a precursor to a bigger one, but so far, nothing significant has happened.
I hope you were able to get some rest to help your sore hip over the weekend.
