The weekend was all the things; good, tiring and sad. I went to the memorial service for my friend’s husband. He lived such a full life and was loved by so many people. I’m happy to see how much his loved ones valued him. My friend is hanging in there. It’s hard to comfort someone when their losses have been so deep and vast. But it was great to see all that showed up to try.
And in fun news, Turbo had his first baseball game and was awarded the game ball! He did great, but Wizard and I were able to be there (due to memorial service) to see it. But we’re still proud grandparents! Here’s a couple pics:
The rest of the weekend was a lot of arranging stuff, cleaning stuff, and doing life things while chronic tiredness tries to slow me down :-). Some days I win and some days fatigue wins :-). But in the end, most things get done and Monday showed up as scheduled.
Oh and Maggie wanted me to tell you all that Wizard let her go to the car wash with him again. She loves going there with him. Maggie is a very cheap date, LOL!
How was your weekend?

It’s so nice to hear that your friend’s husband had so many people who loved him and came out to honor him.
WOW! Good for Turbo. He must be very talented to get the game ball. Grandparents get to shine bright in moments like these.
Totally get the tiredness getting in the way of plans. But like you said, stuff still gets done.
Maggie is a very lucky dog. Did Wizard get an extra treat for making Maggie so happy ☺️?
Yesterday we had 8 inches of snow fall and really strong wind. Today it is sunny and in the upper 40’s. The snow is almost all gone.
C took Luna (the puppy) kayaking in the snow yesterday. All was going well until she decided that it might be fun to jump into the river and almost upturn C. Crazy.
I hope your day is going well.
PS Have you heard anything about Silver? I keep checking her blog and FB page.

Viki, Turbo was surprised and happy. He had an RBI and did well for his age. But they are all kids just learning still
I think we all know that battle with fatigue. If only our brains and bodies would agree, LOL.
Wow that’s kind of crazy to get that much snow and have it almost gone in a day! Wacky weather is almost the norm days.
Is kayaking in the snow common? I have no idea since I don’t kayak or live in the snow But Luna sounds like a girl who’s up for anything, LOL! Happy to hear C managed to keep the kayak from overturning! Hopefully Luna will learn to stay in the kayak!
My day is good (and less tired, yay!).
No I haven’t heard a word and I’m worried about her. I check all the time too. I really hope she’s ok and focusing on getting well.
I hope you have a really nice afternoon and evening!
