Yesterday I was helping Wizard by shoveling ground cover into a trash can. Wizard has it all raked into piles and we’ve been disposing of it little by little each week in the green (for stuff like grass clippings, etc.) trash can. I insisted on doing this part as it’s easier for me than Wizard (which he will deny, LOL). It’s a quick job, and one I don’t mind doing. But I can’t convince Wizard to just let me do it. He’s physically incapable of letting me do it.
So he got another shovel to help. And missed the trash can, hitting my back with a shovel full of ground cover.
We thought we got it all off. By the way, I wasn’t mad, it was just an accident. Anyway, we finished shoveling, then I took off my shoes, went into the house and washed up…then discovered I left a pile of ground cover on the floor. It’d gone down my pants but evidently got stuck until I tried to clean up. After awhile I was just laughing because a quick, simply job always turns into more than is should!
And that was pretty much how my day went yesterday, LOL!
How’s your Wednesday going?

Oh my😄. I can see the shovel of lawn waste hitting you in slow motion as if it were a romcom on Hallmark Channel😄. It’s good that you guys laughed it off and the the mess stayed pretty localized so it wasn’t too much to clean up. Did Maggie supervise everything?
My day has gone okay. It was supposed to clear up but still be chilly. They were wrong again. It’s still very gray.
I did get dinner reservations made for the six of us in Ohio to celebrate C and hubs birthdays at the hibachi. They chose the Saturday before their special days which happens to be the Saturday before Mother’s Day. I was fortunate to be able to get a table.
I already bought and gave hubs his gifts. Now when he sees something and has to have it right then and there. It keeps him happy. As for C, nothing yet except a card. I bought the card a month ago when I saw it and liked it 😊.
Have a great afternoon.

Viki, Maggie was looking for lizards in the planter (her favorite place in the front) and didn’t care at all that I got drenched in ground cover, LOL. I think Wizard was more shocked that I was — it’s not the kind of oops he makes very often which makes it funnier.
I hate gray days, but hope you’re able to enjoy yours.
Wow, you must be really good at getting dinner reservations! I often think of it too late, but you’re better at it than I am. I’m also really impressed you got the gift for hubs and card for C early. LOL at hubs wanting things when he sees it. I mean, I can understand it And yeah, it’s best to just let him be happy. It’s hard enough for him these days.
Mother’s day is coming up fast.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
