The Wolves are in the house! As I’m writing this, I have about 30 pages left of the book “Moonstruck Mafia: Boston” by Silver James. And I will have definitely have finished it by the times this blog pops up in the feeds. I’m just trying to get this blog done before I read, get distracted and forget until late at night when I don’t want to write it. Because I’m lazy like that!Β Also, I’m so NOT a night person.
So the book — it’s long, well over 500 pages, but fast-paced with lots of action so it’s a pretty quick read (now that I actually have time to read after Thanksgiving). Honestly it’s several stories in one book so if you like to get more bang for your buck, this is your book! I wasn’t trying to be funny, but there’s also some banging…just saying. But it’s not as R-rated as some books so pretty safe for the typical reader. I think my favorite characters are Ronan and Maura. I especially love Maura, she’s tough, smart and knows her own mind. I’ve enjoyed the book and sort of dreading The End Which is also why I’m writing this blog first. Am I the only one who kind of dreads The End on some books?
In other “reading” I’m listening to “The Wedding People” by Alison Espach and I think I like it…it’s different than what I expected but I’m intersted so far.
That’s my reading so far this week. What are you reading?
Happy Wednesday!

THANK YOU! I’m so glad you’re enjoying (did enjoy) the book. I’m a little attached to Ronan and Maura too and this was supposed to be their book but then all the events just sort of fell into the timeline and…*shrug* π€·πΌββοΈ Anyway, it became this massive tale.
I’m doing a marathon relisten of Kristen Ashley’s Rock Chick series. It’s been 4 or 5 years since I indulged and I’m enjoying it. I’m prone to laughing out loud at parts, roll my eyes at others but deep down, I’d invite the Rock Chicks and the Hot Bunch over for beer and BBQ. I’m currently on book 6, can’t remember how many are left so I’m not thinking about what will pop up next once I’m done with the marathon.
And once again, I’m soooo thrilled you enjoyed my Boston Wolves! πππ

I’m not really reading anything right now. Every time I try I fall asleep on my first sentence. So, I’ve decided to just go with it and not even open the book when I get to bed. Unfortunately, I don’t see things getting back to normal and I don’t know when I’ll be able to enjoy a book again.
I hope your week is going well.

Silver, you’re welcome, but you did all the hard work writing the book! It was a big sweeping tale and I can see why Ronan and Maura have remained with you after finishing the book.
I’ll have to look into her Rock Chick Series. I remember the series, yet I don’t think I actually read it. Anyway, glad you’re enjoying it! And if you do have those characters over for a BBQ, invite me! I’ll read the books on the plane ride to OK, LOL.
You’re welcome, again on the Boston Wolves. I’m just glad I got past the T-Day craziness and found time to read uninterrupted. I rarely read fiction lately, so this was a treat!
Happy Wednesday!

Viki, I can understand. I’ve just begun really reading much again. And I felt like you, that it would never pass. I also think you’re dealing with a lot right now, and maybe you just don’t have the energy for focusing on reading. It sucks, but it happens. I hope you’ll be patient and not worry about not reading right now.
My week is good and I really hope your week is going well too!
