Whew, we’re already at hump day! And that means time to talk about books.
I listened to a romance I really liked. Lately, that’s a real win. First, I don’t generally like listening to romances, I prefer reading them because I’m weird. And second, romances just aren’t catching my interest as much anymore. I’m pretty sure it’s a season of life thing where my interests go in another direction now. Anyhow, I stumbled onto JUST FOR THE SUMMER by Abby Jimenez, and I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters, the banter, the fun and some of the darker threads of real life (or as real as we get in romances). I will look for more of her books!
I’m staying busy enough that I’m too tired when I sit down to read print books without falling asleep. But audiobooks are a great way for me to do two things at once. Also, I (usually) like being busy and finding hobbies besides reading. I spent so many years sitting at a computer writing about other lives, and now I’m making up for lost time living mine 
Ok seriously, I don’t regret a minute of writing — I truly loved it. Now I’m loving being more active during the day and trying my hand at things like NOT killing every plant I get.
All that said, I still love books! I always will!

I finished off the Kristen Ashley Chaos series–at least the original batch. There are a few books that deal with the next generation that I’ll get back around to eventually. Currently, I’m relistening to the Graphic Audio dramatized version of Ilona Andrews’ MAGIC BINDS. I should finish it today then will relisten to IRON & MAGIC, which is a spin-off from the main world but fits into the main Kate Daniels series timeline betwee BINDS and the just released GA version of MAGIC TRIUMPHS, which is waiting on my phone to listen to.
I also have Nalini Singh’s lastest Archangel/Guild Hunter release in my library. Not sure I’m going there yet. I’ll need to be in the right frame of mind. Not sure where I’ll go after the KD relisten.

I’m not really reading anything other than stuff that comes in the mail 😉 right now. But, when Joey Jones book BEHIND THE BADGE comes out I will be reading it.
I like that you are doing other things and enjoying life. You make me laugh that you’re trying not to kill your plants. How is Prince doing?

Silver, I love how you have a listening plan! I’m like, let’s see what catches my interest in this minute of this day, LOL. Your much more organized in reading, and that probably helps you get more for you money too.
My daughter in law just loaned me two fiction books she recently finished that I’m looking forward to reading. See how easily my reading plans shift???

Viki, I looked up BEHIND THE BADGE and that looks like a compelling book. I’ll be interested to see if you like it. The author is a hero from what I saw on Amazon.
Prince seems very happy in his spot where he gets lots of sun. I even found him some Orchid food. I’m crossing my fingers he stays happy and wants to keep living!!
