So Wizard gave our daughter-in-law (CeeGee’s mom) a book, and now she blames him for igniting her love of reading 
Before this, she was an occassion reader, but now she’s hooked. Which is awesome for me, because she loaned me a couple of hers that she loved. And we get to talk about books!
Right now I’m reading THE LAST LETTER by Rebecca Yarrow and loving it! It’s fully of tragedy and hope, and involves a sick child (I mention that as a caution for those who don’t want that story line in their reading entertainment). I think it’s a cross between romance and women’s fiction. I’m about 3/4’s of the through it and look forward to reading it when I can.
On Audio, I have BUTCHER & BLACKBIRD by Brynne Weaver. It’s about two serial killers who fall in love. So…different and a little funny for the who can occassionally be a little dark and twisted like me. However I’m not so engaged that I’m rushing through it. In fact, at times, I get tired of it and switch to podcasts.

I should look at BUTCHER & BLACKBIRD. I’ve seen it splashed around a few places. Yay for nuding MomCG’s love of books. How fun to be able to talk and trade. Good times.
I’m currently listening to MAGIC TRIUMPHS in the dramatized version. Loving it. Next, I might give Michelle Sagara’s new series a try. From what I can tell, it’s mostly set in the world as her Elantra series. I’ll see what appeals when the time comes. LOL

I really like Rebecca Yarros.
Being able to share thoughts on books is so much fun. I miss it. My bestie and I would talk books all the time but since she moved she pretty much stopped reading and we know I’ve had issues too.

Silver, let me know if you read it. I’m finding I’m not connecting with it as much as I thought I would in the beginning. It’s totally possible it’s because it’s on Audio and I’m not paying enough attention.
A new series! I must look at it. Even with my sporadic reading, discovering something new is always fun. Glad you’re loving MAGIC TRIUMPHS in the dramatized version.

Yeah, I so get not reading for both you and your bestie. It seems like a lot of us are struggling with that. I read then I don’t for quite a while.
