This week started off with some shocking sadness. I suspect the rest of the week will hopefully be better, but I’ll talk about that on Friday. Right now, let’s ignore the sad stuff, and talk about Maggie instead
Here’s Maggie when I try to make her pose for a picture:
She’s looks old and dejected. She is old, but she’s still her cheerful, sweet self and that usually shows through. Unless I pull out my phone and open the camera, LOL.
Here’s Maggie in her natural happy state of lizard hunting. If I remember right, she was stalking something in his shot:
To me, it’s a huge difference. She looks more fit and engaged. Her age shows, but who cares, she’s doing what she loves!
Which means we should be doing something we love! What do you think?
Happy Wednesday!

Wonderful Maggie Wednesday💗! She is so darn cute in how she hates the camera. It’s as if she’s trying to make herself look small. Most pets ham it up for the limelight, not Maggie.
The second photo shows her looking quite fit and working to keep the home safe from any lizards and such. She is a very hard worker.
Very sorry to hear that you had the week begin on an unhappy note. I pray you are all doing okay.
I’m just trudging along with my week.
Today I made turkey soup from the Thanksgiving bones/meat I froze. Since it went from 65F at 7am to 33F now soup will be a winner. We’re also supposed to get lake effect snow tonight. We’ll see.
I hope the day is going well. Take care.

Viki, we are fine, thank you. It’s friends who are suffering, and none of us like that.
Maggie is a hard worker when it comes to lizards or anything else she likes to chase like grasshoppers and crickets
Wow that is a crazy drop in temps in just a few hours. Turkey soups sounds delicious. I always talk about making soup and never do, so I admire you for doing it! Hope you enjoy it!
