Happy Wednesday!

Maggie and I went for an afternoon walk behind our house. Here she is in front of the creek:

Every time I show Wizard pictures of Maggie, he comments on how gray she is with that tiny note of sadness. My response is: Who cares how gray she is? What matters is that she’s happy and active  (she did two walks for a total of 3.3 miles yesterday!).

And here’s a better pic of the creek.

It’ll dry up very quickly, but that’s all water running down from the hills. It flows down behind my house, through more forest land to Youngest’s house. There the creek gets feisty and likes to likes to wash out a convenient back road that we all like to use as a shortcut to Youngest’s house. Naturally I get blamed for this, because I’m his mom and obviously should prevent that from happening, LOLOL.

So that’s my Wednesday Happy, what’s yours?

I’m guessing that Maggie thought you were taking a photo of the creek and not her and that’s why she sat for the picture ❤️😉.

She’s a beautiful dog and she has earned all of her light fur. She works very hard defending her family from lizards and other creatures. I understand Wizard but Maggie really is very active and she keeps you guys walking too.

The creek is very pretty and the water is following nicely. Hate for it to dry up but that’s the way of nature.

😄Of course you get the blame for the overflowing creek washing out the road. Have to blame someone and since mom is nice – blame her😄.

We have had quite a bit of rain too and the falls in our small town is following like the Great Niagara. It looks amazing. It gets really strong like this whenever we get a couple or more inches of rain.

I hope your day is going well.

Viki, well I didn’t show all the pics of Maggie turning away from the phone cam, LOL! I just happened to catch that one second of her looking my way :-) She was sitting on command but looking around most of the time time.

Oh wow, you all falls in your town. Awesome! I would love to see that. We have had so many drought years, I enjoy our tiny little creek, but it’s nothing like the beauty of falls.

Hope you’re having a great day!
