Weekend Roundup

You know how having an assistant is supposed to lighten your workload?

Mwhahahaha!!!

Uh yeah. The Amazing Carla really is a fabulous assistant, and she does lighten my workload, but then, she comes up with these ideas. And gets me excited about them. And then the next thing I’m doing is juggling ever MORE projects. Which is what I did this weekend (with Carla’s help and guidance).

Of course, the project(s) are secret at the moment, but I’ll share soon.

But this week? I’m writing! I was really stuck but Wizard forced me to spill out my problem over dinner and we came up with some ideas to get this second book moving.  Shh, don’t tell him but I owe Wizard big time for his help.

I also got out of the house for awhile–we went to see Wizard’s mom. CPA son and BLB came by there too, it was fun. BLB is looking great.  I miss him,  but it’s great to see him doing well.

Oh and FB locked me out of most of my pages. I’ll try to figure out why today. So frustrating. Something about proving who I am.  Maybe another witch is impersonating me? LOL! I can get on my main fan page, but can’t get on any others. So odd.

So that was my weekend, how was yours?

You’re funny :). I can see how you’d get all excited by Carla’s suggestions and the wheels would start spinning in your head ;).

Since Wizard helped you out does he get his beloved helicopter back ;)?

I’m glad you had a nice nice at mom-in-laws. The guys stopping by is so sweet too.

I spent my weekend doing stuff around the house but mostly I watched John clean all the lighting fixtures. He got the cleaning bug and I wasn’t about to stop him ;). We also took Julie out for dinner Saturday. We had a great time.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Yay for Carla getting you excited, even if it does mean more work for you. Work you’re excited about hardly feels like work at all. ;o) Good job to the Wizard, too! And so glad you got out to visit with family for a while.

I don’t know what’s up with FB. I think they’re ‘improving’ things again. I wish they’d just leave well enough alone. Feh.

The weekend here went pretty much as expected. I did a ton of reading on my lovely little Kindle. I got a bunch of blog posts done and scheduled. (Romantic suspense author Karyn Good is the guest at The Unpublished Writers’ Guide to Survival today.) Sent a submission. Patted myself on the back for still being alive in the Harper Voyager thing. All in all a good weekend.

Viki, LOL on the helicopter and yes I gave it back to him :-) And Carla rocks as an assistant, she’s much better on the promo end than I am.

I wouldn’t stop Wizard from cleaning either–we’re way to smart for that. And now you have sparkling light fixtures.

Hope you had a great dinner with Julie!

B.E. you had a productive weekend. That’s good, and I’ll go check out your blog today. And congrats on sending in a submission!

I’m going to try to figure out FB today, but it’s just not my biggest priority as long as I can get on my fan page.

I want an assistant. Or ten! I’m in the middle of NRCA reader assignments and doing the individual sheets to be mailed out with their books. There is not enough alcohol this time of year!

That said, Thing 1 and Thing 2 arrived Saturday. They are installed, look intimidating, and are far smarter than I am. For what I paid, they should also fold, iron, and hang all clothes.

Can’t wait to hear what the new projects are!

Hehe! Sounds like you had a lot of fun this weekend! Glad one of us did! I can’t wait to hear about the new projects either! Can’t you tell me? Come on, I can keep a secret!!! lol

You should NEVER tell a man you owe them, big or small. It gives them horrible ideas! lol

And it’s a known fact FB is fried. Fun, but fried. Addictive, but fried. It’s always messing up.

Have a Magical Monday, witches!!!! :D

Silver you could use an assistant! But seriously, where I would slack on promotion due to time constraints. Carla kicks my butt in to gear!

    Good luck on the NRCA!

What is Thing one and Two???

Stephanie, you’re not allowed to have fun until you are all well. You were sick enough to go to the ER! Get well, THEN have fun!

    So true on men :-)

I’m miss my “feed” on FB so I can see what everyone is doing!
