The wolf is at my door,
bugging me for the line edits on SOUL MAGIC…
I’m working today, trying to get these done!
I’m also reading this book (as you can see, I took the cover image from Amazon):
But the stupid wolf pounding on my door is keeping my witch butt in the chair working instead of reading…I hate that wolf!
What are you reading? How’s your Monday going? (P.S. I’m also blogging over at MurderSheWrites today.)

I woke up to 10 inches of snow here and we do not get snow days so I’ll be off to work soon, leaving early because of the transportation.
I just finished “The Deepest Cut” by Dianne Emley and now I’m reading “Death Takes The Cake” by Melinda Wells.

White Night by Jim Butcher. I’m on a Butcher streak.
I know, I know. I promised to read Blood Magic next :-(, but I’m thinking of saving it for the 10-12 hour drive to Colorado for skiing over spring break.

I just finished BLOOD MAGIC and I’m “still in the moment” so I haven’t started my next one. That and I’m switching to a new computer this week so I’m having to backup and clean out my hard drive, plus get my office back in order, plus…uhm…oh, yeah. I’ve got edits waiting, too. *headdesk* I have about 30 books in my pile. I think the next one will be Promises In Death because, you know, LaNora/JD and Eve Dallas… What can I say? I’m a sucker for Roarke.
*cracks whip* Get on those edits, witch! I want SOUL MAGIC! And Margaret? DON’T WAIT! Read BLOOD MAGIC ASAP!

Dru, stay safe in that snow storm! Too bad you can’t stay home and read!

Margaret, I keep hearing about Butcher but haven’t picked up one of his books yet. I must do that! I’m not holding you to a time frame to read BLOOD MAGIC so no worries

Silver, I just saw your lovely review on your site! (going to comment as soon as I get the lump out of my throat) Thank you! How lucky am I to have friends like you?
New computer? I need one too and I an dreading moving all the files.
I’m a huge Roarke fan too! I know he’d love me if I could just get rid of Eve. I’m been working on a spell…

Hi Jen, I am reading Give Me A Cowboy right now and I do love me some cowboys. I haven’t got anything done yet today but will get started soon. I have problems getting going in the mornings but I work to late at night. That’s when I get my reading done is late at night.

I’m retiring Franken Pewter, my desk top. I have a spiffy little “toaster box” being custom made and I’m excited. Ol’ Frank was a cobbled together ‘puter made with spare parts and then things like memory and drives were upgraded as they failed. I’m going LINUX on the new box and hyperventilating about it. Technology is SOOOO not my friend.
And speaking of, that friendship thing is a two-way street. *MASSIVE BIG HUG* You are very welcome, Jen. I don’t claim to be a reviewer. I just like to pass on what I like or mention in passing if a book didn’t hold up to expectations. Trust me when I say BLOOD MAGIC blew me away. While I’m known to gigglesnort out loud when reading, I don’t cry very often and you brought tears to my eyes. TWICE!
FYI, the Baseball Boy (codename for my DD’s fiance) wants to read it when he has time (maybe spring break). He heard me laughing about Chuck Norris. Now he’s intrigued. I’ll let you know what he thinks.

I am reading . . . Just the sexiest man alive by Julie James, this is her debut novel. I’m very jealous. One day, when I grow up, I’m gonna have a debut novel too!
Dru – sorry to hear about your snow. We’re having record heat here, suppose to be 90 degrees today!

Silver, it’s nervewracking to change computers! Good luck! I’m sure it’ll go fine. I’m so jealous though
I love reader-reviews! Yours was so lovely! I’m happy to have made you laugh, and even happier to have made you cry!
Hmm…a man’s going to read the book. This will be sooo interesting! The Chuck Norris stuff comes directly from listening to my sons. They are hilarious!

Erika, love that title! Is the book good? I’ll look for it.
Hang in there, you’ll have your debut novel. Probably faster than I did! It only took me EIGHT YEARS and many “almosts.”

The title is what got me to pick it up. I just started it last night, I’m not that far into yet, but so far so good…
Eight years? Hmmm, I may need to work on my patience a bit…

Erika, I never planned on eight years, LOL! The title caught my attention!
