Tomorrow is the graduation pool party, and it’s going to be HOT here, around 108. We were hoping for something more like 90, but nothing we can do about it. I hope it goes well. Today, I’m running around doing all the prep and baking. I’ll let you all know on Monday how it goes.
So what are your weekend plans?

108 F, I feel for you guys. I guess you’ll have to have a lot of water on hand to keep every one cool. The pool should help too. I’ll send good vibes your way. Hopefully you’ll get a breeze.
I’m sure the party will be a blast and I’m looking forward to hearing all about it as well as Witch/Wizard fun stories ;).
Tomorrow hubs and I are having dinner with our niece and her hubs. They’re in town from Colorado Springs for a month. We’re lucky if we see them once a year. Out of all of John’s huge family, this niece and I have a bond so I’m excited to see her.
Have a wonderful time this weekend and get lots of rest on Sunday. You’ll need it after the party ;).

Ack. 108 sucks. Get all the hot things done today. We hit like 98 here yesterday and with the humidity (which I have to get used again after 11 years in the high desert), it was like a sauna. Have fun tomorrow, regardless of the heat, though.
My weekend plans will revolve around limping along with my stupid internet. They’re sending a tech out today, so keep your fingers crossed for me. And I’ll be writing. Lots and lots of writing. (well, re-writing, but it counts.) I finally lit a fire under my butt and I’m determined to get this sucker finished – so I can get to editing the first draft of a different book. Someday I hope to write new words again. LOL

Rain Rain and oh yea more Rain. So inside cleaning. My son is getting back from about a month of being at a boy scout camp. Please do not imagine the laundry. I’ll be lucky if his pants don’t stand up on their own or the socks don’t walk to the washer by themselves.
I hope to pin the kids and my parents down this weekend on what weeks in July the kids could go and spend some time with my parents. That is my vacation time. Now if I could find a place to ship the hub off to it would be perfect.
I will try to trade you some Rain for Sunshine on Monday after your party.

Viki, have a great time with your niece and her hubby! Sounds like fun!
My day started early and this is the first second I’ve had to respond to comments.

B.E., do you know what the problem is with your internet? I’m so sorry! I’ve had my struggles so I feel for you. Fingers crossed it gets resolved.
Now go write!

Kat, rain and month of your son’s laundry doesn’t sound much like a fun weekend. I hope you can get a firm date from your parents so you can get a vacation soon!

The phone support people said it was ‘bandwidth saturation’ and they were working on it (like the last two times I called), but they had no idea when it would be fixed. When the tech got here, he switched out a little filter and everything works fine now. Two months of progressively wonky internet and it took him ten minutes to find the problem and fix it.
On the upside, I got over 11K re-written so far this week.
