Oh no Yuck! I hope you two rested and didn’t do much over the weekend. Did you have some chicken soup on hand? I hope so. You two feel better.
We just had another few inches of snow fall on us :). Other than that our weekend was uneventful.
Today I have a contractor coming to cleat my main house vents. The drain gurgling and gas back up is driving me mad. Oh – got the furnace fixed Friday. Still have to replace it soon.
Yay for the new laptop! I found myself thinking about your new computers and getting a case of tech envy this weekend. I want a new ‘puter, too! ;o)
Boo for the Wizard being all infectious and junk.
Since I spent the majority of yesterday watching the Harry Potter marathon, interspersed with basketball (during which both Michigan teams lost – damn them), my weekend was a waste. It didn’t feel like a weekend anyway. More like two Mondays in a row.
Ugh! And you under deadline. Been there, hated it. I had a mostly laid-back weekend. Read all the entries for a unpublished contest I’m judging. Watched baseball. Today is opening day! WOOTWOOT! *fist pumps* I have 21 days to fix chapters 1 and 3, write chapter 2 and put together a synopsis. But here it is almost 11:00 and I’ve only opened the MS to copy and paste the opening paragraph. Yeah…I need to get off line and get to work.
LOL, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad, Jenn. I was just teasin’. I know how to get a new computer if I need one – sell an organ or something. ;o) Seriously, though, this one is only 4 years old and it still works like a champ. Now, the keyboards… those I go through quick.
B.E., I’m averaging five to six years on a computer these days, and whenever we bought a new one, we had the old one as a backup. But my computers get REALLY hard use.
I’m with you on keyboard though–I go through them quickly. Although it’s usually Wizard who wants a new one because I’ve typed several letters off.
And thanks but YOU didn’t make me feel bad, I just am vividly aware that I’m lucky this year to have been able to get the computers I needed. There’s been many years I couldn’t because other things took priority. That’s how life works
Keep your organs, your computer sounds like it’s in good shape!

Get better soon. One of you not feeling well is bad enough but when you both are sick. Just put your house under quarantine till it goes away.
Unfortunately I did not get all projects done this weekend so now I deal with 5 days of mess until I can finish up next Saturday.

Viki, isn’t that annoying to have to pay for fixing the furnace and know you still have to replace it?
This cold pretty much sucks, but today is better for me than yesterday. Wizard is sicker, and had to go to work for awhile anyway.

B.e., I almost didn’t tell you guys about the laptop because of that I want you to have a new computer too. If it helps, we saved for a long time.
Yeah, spreading germs sucks, and I had to go run an errand I couldn’t avoid. Hope I didn’t get anyone else sick.
Sorry your weekend felt like two Mondays in a row. Ugh!

Kat, sorry you have to deal with 5 days of mess. I hate that myself.
We should be under quarantine.
