I’ll be sending this book off to my editor later today! I could have sent it yesterday except I ended up rewriting a scene because I can’t help myself. It bugged me and I just couldn’t let it go. It’s a sickness That leaves me with a few more pages to edit today then off it goes.
Next, I’m going to start on the revisions for the novella Savaged Surrender–Ethan and Ana’s story. I’m cutting it close on that one, so I have to dive right in and work fast.
Yesterday I took a break to hang out in the pool with Wizard. He’s still a bit physically limited from the back issue causing nerve pain. That he’s handling pretty well, even going to the gym despite the pain. But trying to navigate the medical system with his endless referrals and roadblocks before getting to the ultimate solution is really testing his patience. Let’s just fix this already! In any case, his level of pain is pretty manageable right now so it’s okay. And swimming in the pool is good for both of us.
This weekend we’re making ribs and hanging out some around my endless working
What are your plans?

Send it! And yeah, I totally get trying to make things as right as possible before you send it. Those niggling scenes must be fixed. Bummer about Wizard’s back. Fingers crossed he gets it taken care of soon. Pool therapy is always good.
Weekend plans…… Well, I started working on a secret thing last night. It might end up being the next book I publish after Up Wish Creek next month. Then again, I may get in my own way and hide from it. UWC’s final edits are due back Tuesday, which might curtail anything else until after I launch that. Might go fishing. Will definitely do some walking.

I feel Wiz’s frustration. We’ve been navigating that labyrinth for 25 years and STILL don’t have a definitive diagnosis for Lawyer Guy. Here’s hoping civilian docs can figure it out and get him some relief!
Enjoy the pool and the ribs. Take a mindbreak from the writing. It’s good for the word count.

Oh I feel so bad for Wizard. All the insurance bull and to be in pain on top of it all. I’m glad the hot tub and pool help manage the pain. You’re right, it’s good for both of you because YOU need to relax more.
My hubs still won’t go see any one about his neck and back. Wish he realized that that is NOT being smart. I’ve even tried getting him to go to the office where my girlfriend works. He flirts with her all the time so I thought that might work but so far no go.
Ribs sound great. Are any of the guys coming over to enjoy them with you?
We’re celebrating the youngest going back to college Monday . He gets to pick dinner Sat. night. So far it’s lasagna. We will be going out since I won’t turn on the oven with it being so hot and humid.
Have a great weekend and don’t work too hard on the revisions if it takes you away from ribs ;).

B.E., I sent it! The last three weeks I worked my butt off on it, and it’s nice to get it off my desk
OHHH!! A Secret Thing! I’m intrigued and hope to hear more soon.
Hope you have a great weekend and maybe get a little fishing in!

Silver, what you guys are going through with LG is so wrong, and I’m so sorry. Wizard’s GP doc got right on this, we know exactly what it is. It’s just getting through the insurance hoops now, but hopefully he’ll see a surgeon soon and we’ll see what can be done.
Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Viki, I hope hubs listens to you. That’s the one thing where Wizard isn’t a typical male. Plus he has a good GP doc who listens to him. I wish your hubs could find someone like that, then hopefully he’d more comfortable going.
I think it’s just me and Wizard this weekend.
Hope you guys have a great dinner out with your son before he goes back to college! Don’t blame you for not wanting to turn on the oven in the humidity. We having nice weather today, wish I could share it with the rest of the country.
