Friday Five
Happy Friday! And it’s time for Friday Five where we share five random things about our week. Assuming I can remember five things…
- At dinner last night, Wizard and I got in a fight about donuts. We never fight about normal things like money or kids. Nope, we fight about donuts. Wizard has a craving and is trying to convince me that we must buy at least six or a dozen at a time. I insisted we can buy one for each of us, or just one for himself. He called me mean. This is pretty much how we fight. Then we started talking about something else and forgot we were fighting
- Wednesday I went to physical therapy again. I feel like I must warn people–when a physical therapist tells you to lay down on a table, RUN! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, RUN! Okay it wasn’t that bad, and what’s she’s doing is necessary but…ouch, and also, good job at finding that really sore tendon the very first try, LOL!
- Why is it my characters talk nonstop to me all night long and when I’m doing anything but writing. But the second I sit down at the computer, they’re suddenly mute?
- Insomnia sucks.
- I’m going to lunch with Biker Witch today, and that’s pretty much the highlight of my weekend. Otherwise it’s me riding herd on the characters in Savaged Devotion. One day, I will tame this book, one day…

Ahahaha. Ouch! Ditto. It does. Have dessert–you deserve it after this week. My week…
1) Lawyer Guy called me out of the blue to say he was thinking of me. He was driving back to his office after a meeting and a yard was full of naked ladies. This goes back to a time when he was going to weed-eat several clumps of leaves that he thought were done. I had to give him a quick lesson on naked ladies. I had no idea he remembered that.
2) I filed my paperwork to run for Director at Large of RWA. Yes, I am insane. What else is new?
3) I’ve decided there isn’t enough coffee in the world to get me through this month.
4) It’s raining and cool and we need both! I’d send some your way if I could get the prevailing weather systems to reverse!
5) I have 10K words to write between now and Monday. I will do this. Or else. (Don’t ask “or else” entails. I’m trying to scare my Muse into cooperating… :lol:)

2. That’s fantastic about PT. Sorry it hurts but if it works – WOW!

1a. PeeWee was in surgery for over 4 hours today. 6 teeth being pulled. Awaiting an update.
2a. Hubs and I went to pick up our 12 month free HD box from Spectrum. What a zoo. They could stop all the constant commercials and giveaways and just lower our bill ;). We have basic nothing with 2MB internet and pay $100. Insane.
3a. Tomorrow we’re (my hubs, one of the girls) meeting my girlfriend for coffee. It’s her birthday :)!
4a. Having my birthday dinner at a place in the little village nearest us. It’s right on the river looking out at Chagrin Falls. Should be nice. Not sure if PeeWee’s parents will come as he will most certainly need them after today.
5a. It finally rained here today. It’s been raining all around us – as in 1 mile away will get 2 inches and we get nothing.

Viki, I hope PT works, thanks. I also have an appointment with a pain doctor at the end of the month.
1) I’m sending healing wishes for PeeWee. This is more than “just a tooth extraction” for him. I really hope he’ll be back to feeling feisty and ready for lots of love and attention soon.
2) We’ve recently switched to Spectrum for Internet service, so I feel for you. We’re on a special deal but once that expires, we’ll be paying through the nose for sure.
3) Hope your girlfriend has a great birthday! And LOL on hubs as one of the girls
4) Hope you have the best birthday dinner ever! The place you picked sounds charming and wonderful. I know you’ll miss PeeWee’s parents if they can’t make it, but PeeWee may really need them as you said. You’d just worry if they came and he’s not ready to be alone.
