My weekend was average, nothing exciting to report yet. I’m working when I can but still limiting myself on the computer. Savaged Devotion is coming along slowly. How was your weekend?
Also today is the rare solar eclipse and will be visible here in the U.S. I’ll probably be at physical therapy or driving home when we can see it in California. What are you doing? Here’s a pretty picture of a solar eclipse from Depositphotos.
Happy Monday!

The weekend was pretty bland here. Sat around for the most part. Read some stuff. I did get back to work on Early Grave (SCIU #3) last night, which was good.
Yep, work when you can and take care of yourself. :hugs:
I’ll be home and inside for the eclipse. I remember the eclipse from 1979 as being thoroughly anti-climactic, so I’m not really that jazzed about it now. Careful if you’re driving home during it – there’ll be an extra helping of distracted drivers on the road today.

I did a Powerpoint presentation and talk on incorporating body language in writing. I’d never made a Powerpoint so there was a learning curve. I think it went over well. Sunday? I’m not sure what happened to Sunday. At the moment, I’m sweating deadlines. Eek!
And yeah, I’ll step outside at the apex of the eclipse just to see the semi-dark (we’re only getting about 84%) but I’ll be watching the live stream on Nat Geo channel.
I don’t have the special glasses.
I REALLY hope you get the physical stuff sorted out. I know what a pain it is–no pun intended!

B.e., bland weekends are better than bad weekends
And clearly you’ve decided that Early Grave is your next project.
I worked hard in PT today, I’m seeing tiny degrees of improvement there. Although the therapists said the whole large muscles there is painfully stiff still. Next week I see the pain doc to see if shots will help to (seperate issue)
I was careful driving home. It wasn’t bad at all except the jerk who refused to pull over for fire trucks with lights and siren goings. I was so pissed at that, but otherwise all was good

Silver, congrats on mastering powerpoint and giving a great workshop! Wish I’d been there.
Hope you were able to safely see part of the eclipse. It’s just looks overcast here, but I’m not staring at the sun either. I’ve caught some of it on TV though and it’s much more amazing.
I’m doing everything I can to improve through PT.

So glad you’re making progress with PT.
The eclipse was 84% here. We couldn’t get glasses so I stayed inside. Middle son went outside at work and took it in w/o looking. His co-worker took a coupe really great photos. The next one, April 8, 2024 will be 100% over us :).
People who do not pull over for emergency vehicles make steam come out of my ears :(!
I hope you have a great afternoon!

Viki, it’s small progress but it’s giving me a little hope. I’m at least happy to be something as opposed to sitting around and waiting for answers.
I bet the photos are amazing! It’s probably easier to view that way. I
I was really ticked over the jerk in the truck today. The truck jerk clearly thought he more important that whoever called for fire/rescue. I fumed the whole way home about one.
Hope you’re having a great start to your week, and so happy to hear Pee Wee is doing better.
