Do Witches Twitter?
What do you guys think of Twitter? Are you all sending out Tweets?
What do you say? Who do you follow? Why?
I’m really curious. And yeah, I’m pretty sure I’ll sign up eventually. But most of you know how bad I am at Facebook!
I sure as heck don’t want to be the author that has a Twitter Temper Tantrum. Although authors can always find a place for public ATTs (Author temper tantrums) over reviews on Amazon and various blogs over reviews several times a year.
So tell me, do you Twitter?

I twitter, but I facebook more. I also have selective twitter that I choose what gets posted to facebook.
I tweet about simple stuff like the books I’m reading, how hot it is outside, if anything is exciting to me that I want to share. Remember in twitter you only have 140 characters to use.

I’m completely addicted to twitter. I signed up when I started my blog and there are so many fun book people on there. It is like an entire world out there…you should definitely sign up! It is so much fun!!

I’m avoiding Twitter. I’m afraid once I get started, I’ll spend all my time twittering. It’s hard enough to get words on the page some days without added distractions.

Yeah – I refuse to tweet … aside from the time suck factor, I’d rather blog or FB where I can interact on a deeper level.
I do not deny there are benefits and some really neat people out there on Twitter but … it’s not for me.

I don’t twitter. I refuse. I love FB, I like the games and whatnot, but I refuse to Twitter. Only 140 characters? What the heck? How am I suppose to be cute and funny with only 140 characters? GEEZ!

Margaret, I’ve avoided all games and distractions on Facebook so far. I’m assuming Farmville a game or community on FB?

Hi. My name is Silver and I tweet.
Actually, I can stay away from it but it’s fun to check in periodically see what’s going on in twitverse. I follow a bunch of authors, some industry professionals, and friends. I tend to “retweet” more than do original tweets, though you’ll see those on my facebook. Retweeting is passing along good news and announcements from the people you follow. Social media is the new hot thing and just one more marketing tool to use, as well as a way to stay in quick touch. It’s almost as good as magic.
I’m silverwriter on twitter if anyone wants to follow me.

I have a twitter but I mainly just follow and most of the people I follow are author’s that I read. I do have my twitter linked to my WeRead on facebook so it updates each time I start or finish a book.
I really enjoy being able to follow the author’s that I read.

lol I twitter. Some times I love it, other times, ah-so. But I only drop on to facebook, once in a while.
When I twitter, I’m like Silver (and I’m going to look you up Silver!) I tweet about books I’m reading, frustrations, odds and ends of a boring ho hum life
I do have a hook up from my blog to my twitter, but I have the option, to turn that off or on. (so that if I just blog a short vent, it doesn’t necessarily show up as a tweet)
I love getting the announcements that an author just finished their book, editor approved, etc when some of my fav authors twitter. (or ellen, she’s so funny)
