WHAT? It’s February? Umm, how did that happen?
As you all know from my constant whining, (and my slacking on comments) I’ve been under the gun on revising Phoenix’s book. And guess what? I’m making progress! Yay! I finished the bulk of the revision, and now just need to edit, smooth and polish.
Hmm, maybe hard work does pay off!
I’m projecting getting this to my editor next week. Then I’ll dive into Key’s book. I don’t have much time to write that either. But thats’ okay, I’m excited about his book!
I didn’t get to read this weekend, bummer. But I did get a break Saturday morning when my oldest son and his girl friend came over very very early.
And they brought Bailey! Woo Hoo!! I stopped playing with Bailey just long enough to make pancakes, then played with him some more. I didn’t take pictures this time thought. Then I threw everyone out to work.
How was your weekend?
P.S. hop on over to MurderSheWrites where Kate Carlisle is guest blogging! Leave a comment and you’ll be entered into the contest to win a copy of Kate’s latest book IF BOOKS COULD KILL.

I’m glad you’re making progress on your revisions.
My weekend was quiet. I finished the quilt that I was working on and now I’m thinking of the next project.

First off, that is an awesome drawing.
Yeah, I looked at my desk calendar this morning and thought WTF? February already? So much for getting my rewrite done in January. I did get some awesome words out this weekend, though, so it’s all good.
And I read a few books – the first ones of the year. Your story in Sun Sand Sex was awesome, Jen. I also inhaled Dead and Kicking by Wendy Roberts, Allison’s Original Sin, and Finding the Lost by Shannon Butcher. So far it’s a great start to my reading year. =o)

Oh wow.. Woohoo on Phoenix’s book and starting your way to Key’s!! And double Woohoo for getting to play with Bailey!!!!
This weekend was just a round about crappy weekend; but I survived. Won’t even go there… And how the hell did February get here so damn fast! UGH!! As long as the days flies and April 15th gets here like tomorrow, I will be a happy camper!
But I did have two surprises this weekend… a friend made something for me… which I will have posted at my place one day… and another gave me a gc to amazon! So, they turned a crappy weekend into a nice weekend. And on top of that… I did read some hot books lately!
When do we start with the Appletini’s!!!!

B.E., I agree! I so admire talent like this drawing.
Congrats on getting the words out this weekend! But yeah, how did it get to be Feb?
Thanks on my novella in Sun, Sand and Sex. That was on of my all time favorites to write. It was just fun.

Cecile, I think you need some hunks to wake you up with appletinis. I’m really sorry for the crappy weekend and the general misery of tax season.
Yay for friends though!!! Friends make the tough times bearable!
Sheesh, I’ve hardly been to anyone’s website lately. Got to catchup–although this will be another marathon week for me of reading and editing.

Awesome news on Phoenix’s book. Can’t wait to read all about him.
My weekend was uneventful. I’m still waiting on pins and needles to find out about the job interview I had on Thursday. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Oh so excited about Phoenix’s book. I hate that you won’t have anything out until 2011 with this series though, can you maybe give us a tease? LOL
My weekend was good. My youngest was sick all last week so I got to do a lot of reading since I was home with him. I finished Ecstasy Unveiled by Larissa Ione, My Immortal by Erin McCarthy, finished up the Queen Betsy books by MaryJanice Davidson. I forgot to tell you that I read your novella in Wicked Women Whodunit, I really enjoyed it such a cute story.
Yesterday we headed out to the Dallas area Comic Con, pretty cool. The boys picked up some Star Wars prints and some comic books.

Way to go, Jen. Can’t wait to read all about Phoenix
I had a pretty nice weekend. My best friend dropped her kids off here on Saturday. I got to play with the kids all afternoon Seeing them was worth the loss of sleep. Sunday wasn’t quite as good. I watched the Red Wings game and they lost
Amanda, wasn’t Ecstasy Unveiled awesome? I read it in one day. I didn’t want to put it down and got next to no sleep that day. Way worth it though

You’re hard work will pay off, Jen. We can’t wait to read Phoenix’s story. And Key. *double grin*
My weekend was all right, except for the ice and snow we got. I finally got to see New Moon. I had to drag my daughter, she didn’t really want to see it. hehe It was okay. I wasn’t that impressed with Edward but was I ever impressed with Jacob. Holy moly, that boy is HOT. I know, he’s young, but dang. I’m totally Team Jacob all the way.
