My Excuse!

I’m feeling better, but still a bit sick and guess what’s taking up ALL my time?

Sadie is a JOY and a ROYAL PAIN. Good thing she’s cute because she puppy howls all night long.  Linc is taking bets on how long Wizard lasts! He’s trying, but the nights are hard.

We’ll see if Wizard and I can stick this out.  We truly jumped into this, fast and stupid!

Glad you’re feeling better, Jen. Wish I was. I fell at work last night and ache all over. My hand hurts the most from where I caught myself from hitting the ground face first. Not. Fun.

Awwwww, Sadie is sooooo cute. I’m glad you finally got your puppy. Don’t give up on her too soon. She’s just a baby. You’ll get her trained. Then you’ll never want to give her up. You can do it, Jen!!

Oh Dawn, I’m so sorry! Aside from being sore, are you okay? I’m concerned!

I’m still struggling with this stomach thing. I just can’t eat. Sadie is a sweetheart! We’re in love, we just want to make sure we can do it–this is a long commitment!

She’s just lonely and probably a little scared. Play hard with her just before bedtime to get her all tuckered out. That will help her sleep. Sorry about the stomach thing. That’s such a wretched feeling. I’d almost trade you my cough. :P

I know you guys will stick it out with Sadie. How could you look at her face and leave her back at the shelter? (Yeah, I’m not above emotional blackmail! )

Is it Friday yet? Linc, my cookies are on Sadie staying and living a long, spoiled life with the witch and wizard!

Erika says “10 days” I say he caves forever ’cause he won’t take away from you!

Hey, maybe Bailey can come for a sleepover and help Sadie get adjusted. (I don’t know whether that’s actually a good idea, but it sounded good when I thought of it earlier.) If it makes you feel any better, my cat Kira meowed almost all night for the first two weeks I had her. I was exhausted, but it was worth it. She’s my big furry boo-baby now. (Fat and spoiled, but a sweetie – which is why she’s fat and spoiled.) Hang in there and feel better.

Silver, very skilled emotional blackmail! LOL!!! We are trying. Trust me, we love her.

Really hoping your cough goes away. It’s exhausting to deal with that lingering cough. It’s time for you to get well!

Ban! You and Erika are too funny! Wizard is falling for her. But we’ll see if we can do it. I don’t know how such a little girl can cause such chaos!

B.E., aww, I miss Bailey! But he can’t come yet, Sadie needs her second set of shots, and Bailey can be dog aggressive. We’re going to try to socialize them carefully.

I know how much you love your kitty now (Max? I’m trying to remember). It helps to hear success stories!

Ooo, sorry to hear Bailey’s a little dog aggressive. Introducing them slowly sounds like a good idea. He’ll learn to love Sadie as much as you love him.

I have two rescues. Kira – who we got when she was 12 wks. She’s our indoor baby – 15 lbs of spoiled rotten sweetheart. And Max, the abused stray we adopted this past July. He’s learning to be spoiled and loving almost every minute. (Except for medicine time.) LOL =o)

B.E., my son plans to introduce Bailey carefully. And we won’t take Sadie Bailey’s house, but do it at my house. We’ll see. I hope so, because we love Bailey!

AWWW on your two rescues, Kira and Max. I just love that!
