I’m juggling too many things and dropped getting the blog posted, sorry! My weekend was good, although my lunch with my friend was cancelled. Hopefully we’ll get another chance to do lunch.
After some technical glitches, the first tracks of the audio book for THE PROPOSITION are done! I’m listening for tweaks or corrections and once we do that, it should be ready to go. I think it takes a couple of weeks to go live. I’ve listened to 10 out of 13 chapters, and WOW I’m impressed!
And I broke through on EXPOSING THE HEIRESS. After all this time, I’ve found Alyssa and Hunt’s story. I just need to write a gazillion words in a month, easy LOLOLOL!!!
Now I’m off to the gym, then work. How was your weekend?
OH!! And Middle Son called and asked if we can babysit Bailey Dog next weekend. Any guesses what my answer was?

No sweat. Things happen. You’re here now and that’s all that matters. =o) Well, I guess getting through those glitches and also getting the book figured out matter, too. Yay! Plus, you get to visit with the grandpuppy!
The predicted bad weather on Friday was a bust. Saturday was lovely for the most part so I took a walk in the woods. Sunday the crap hit, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as they said it was going to be, so it’s all good. We didn’t lose power, which excites me to no end. Today, it’s colder than a witch’s nose, so we brought Max in for a stay in my bathroom (it’s below freezing in the garage right now) and I’m not going outside unless it’s to take pictures of how pretty the sun is on the fresh snow.

I know how crazy your life is, Jen! Trust me! I’m right there with you. We brought LG home Friday and are currently waiting on Home Health Care to come “doctor” the wound vac site. Saturday was a painting marathon, followed by bad weather yesterday but further painting to finish up at least the one room at the kids’ new home. I’m going back up Wednesday night and Thursday to prep the crib and paint it it’s new color.
We have snow. Lovely to look at, glad I’m not out in it, because BRRRRRR. I think the temp is about 15 right now? *shiver*
Yay on Bailey Dog coming to visit! Double YAY on the book breakthrough!!!! I can’t wait to read Cowboy Marine and Heiress. And I may breakdown and buy the audio book of Plus One because I am really curious, even though I don’t normally do audio books! Have a great week. And keep up the good work!

B.E. I’m with you on the power. I hate losing power! Glad the storm didn’t cause you problems, but it’s cold there today. Max is probably very grateful to be inside.
I feel better about the book, let’s hope it holds. I worked on the audio book all morning and now getting the Heiress book.

Silver, Happy Birthday (a couple days late)!
Poor LG! I’m glad he’s home, but he’s still in recovery mode, and its not fun. You BOTH need to take care of yourself. I know you’re helping the kids, but you need to stay rested and well too.
How did the room you painted turn out?
I’m really impressed with Ryan. We’re in the process of contracting the next two books. This isn’t cheap for me, but I feel that strongly about his work. Hopefully, others will agree. Even in the sexiest scenes, his voice was “in character” and worked really well.
I know you’re juggling too! I hope spring hits soon there!

You know Jen you’re allowed to be human :). We all get it. I’m glad you had the break through and are now set to fill pages ;).
Sorry about the cancelled lunch. Sure hope it can get together soon. You need to throw in breaks like that now and then. Witches need to coven after all ;).
YES! Bailey is coming. That means Jen will take some down time if she wants to or not because Bailey is too cute.
Not much happened here this past weekend. The only thing I can think of is I went in Friday to get new glasses (I use them to drive). Because it was going to take over 2 hours for the sunglasses Hubs said to go back on Sat. So on Sat. I go in and as the tech is adjusting the frame she snaps it. So now I have no glasses and this poor tech is probably going to be socked with the cost of the frame. It’s not right :(. I picked them up this morning and all is well.
Have a great day!

Viki– Witches need to coven after all Love that! And you’re right, but she was sick, and so it couldn’t be helped. I just want her to feel better.
Wizard took me out to dinner since I was a tad cranky. That helped
So sorry your glasses broke as the tech was adjusting them. That can happen, and I’m surprised that the office would hold her responsible. That’s not right, but nor should you pay for it. But glad you finally got your glasses!
Having Bailey will be nice, and I may go to a meeting Sat for a while just to see friends. Depends how much a get done. Today has been an “other than straight writing work” kind of day. But it’s all part of the job!
And thanks, I’m all-too-human most days, but I just hate not keeping commitments.
