I’m still trying to talk Wizard into getting me a French bulldog for my birthday (it’s not until August). One like Jiggy in HER TEMPORARY HERO. So he’s being super agreeable, saying things like “Sure witch, I saw one on sale the other day.”
I’m thinking, huh, I never see French bulldogs on sale so I asked, “And he’s just like Jiggy?”
“Exactly.” Then he sauntered off.
And that’s when I remembered–Wizard hasn’t read HER TEMPORARY HERO. He’s lying to me! I’m not getting a French bulldog, dang it. At least not a living, breathing, REAL one. Bummer!

First – Congratulations on the success of HTH. We knew it would be good. I am impressed with how you did Logan – very good.
I love the bulldog. Wizard is a trip. He thought he could trick you but there is no tricking the witch ;). I have feeling you will be getting a little stuffed bulldog.
I hadn’t scrolled down as I looked at the dog photo and I had thought that must be a Bailey line too and then you said the same thing :).
I’m on the fence with this guy. He could be okay but I’m reserving judgement.

LOL, yep, that sounds like something I’d imagine Bailey would say. Grandma’s got to keep treats for the grand-puppies.
As for Wizard… you two kill me. “saw one on sale”… ROFL.
This guy looks worthy to me. He might maybe be better with a little chest hair, but that’s not everybody’s preference.

Ehh on the guy, but LOVE the puppy! Does that surprise you when I have 5!
My aunt has a french bulldog, they are so stinking cute!! And smart. Very good choice. Hey, you know, you could always buy yourself a pressie for doing so well with HTH.

I *wanted* to believe Wizard. But I should know better–he also told me he was going birthday shopping last night and came home in fifteen minutes with new razer blades for himself. He’s just being mean

B.e., chest hair can really work on the right guy!
Wizard is having way too much fun torturing me. Especially since I know French bulldogs are expensive and hard to come by. I don’t care if they are pure bred, I just want that cute little face
Bailey knows I have treats and where they are! He shows me in case I’ve forgotten, LOL!

Hmm, buy myself a present…not a bad idea. Although Wizard’s always trying to get me to buy more for myself, and I just never have time so he’s probably safe.
I feel the same way about the poor guy.
