Wednesday Worthy and Wizard’s Commentary on 50 Shades

So…Wizard and I saw Fifty Shade of Grey. I’m not going to give my opinion again because I’ve said it in a few places, and who really cares what I think? I just support writers hitting mega success. But I know you all care what Wizard thinks, right? No worries I asked him for you!

We’ll just skip over his opinion of Dakota Johnson because I think you all can guess that :-) I mean come on, hot, cute naked girl? Last time I checked, Wizard had red blood laced with testosterone running in his veins.

So I asked Wizard, “What did you think of Christian Grey in the movie?” I SWEAR I’M NOT MAKING THIS UP.

He looked at me and said, “I’m Batman.”

Only he said it like this audio clip:

Okay, now I’ve heard a ton of commentary abut Fifty Shades but this is new.  Confused, I’m asked the obvious,  “WHAT????”

Wizard explained, “That Christian guy just kept showing up out of nowhere rescuing Ana. Every time I was waiting for him to say,  “I’m Batman.”

I laughed so hard. Where the heck does he come up with this stuff? BATMAN??? Now all I can hear is “I’m Batman” over and over and I laughed the rest of the day. Every time Wizard walked by me, I was like, “Say it again!”

So that is Wizard’s rather unique commentary on Fifty Shades of Grey.

And now, of course, Batman is on my mind, which naturally makes me think of Christian Bale. So guess who is our hunk candidate today?

Christian Bale BatmanWhat do you think, is he worthy?

Cackles Love it! How I’d like to meet Wiz. I swear he has the same wicked sense of humor my Hubs does. I love it! haha

And ya know, the Batman reference makes sense. Except, around here our saying is “I am THE Batman” — then the whole family argues over which one of us really is THE batman. (like one of us is truly the batman ha)

Bale is always worthy. Just sayin’

:gigglesnort: Wizard is awesome. I’m not inclined to see the movie, but now if I did, I’d hear “I’m Batman” throughout it. Which could only make it better, right?

Yeah, Bale’s worthy. I liked him better in Reign of Fire, though. My brain’s still stuck on Michael Keaton as Batman or even Val Kilmer. (Ah, Val before he got gross.)

And we always care what you think, Jenn.

You should have put a liquids alert on this post…or I should know y’all by now! Yes. I splorted coffee out my nose. Didn’t see the movie, won’t see the movie, but I love Wiz’s take on the movie. LOLOL

Bale? Depends. Sometimes his hot, sometimes he’s not. But… “I’m Batman”….*BWAHAHAHAHAHA*

Viki, sometimes Wizard totally catches me by surprise like that that :-)

I’m sorry you’re still losing your posts (I think that’s what you meant). That’s so frustrating.

B.e., probably wise not to see the movie. Save it for Batman, LOL!

I picked the first Bale pic I found–I’ll have to look for a Reign of Fire one when I surface into real life again.

Silver, that was how I felt all day! I laughed despite my book craziness. Wizard truly has his moments :-)

Oh my goodness. I didn’t even recognize Mr. Bale. How did that happen??

I’m not going to see 50 shades, but I would love for anything I published to get as much attention as her books have. Good, bad, it’s all advertising  .

Erika, I’m with you on getting the attention for all of us who publish :-) Probably a wise decision on the movie too.
