I’m working, closing in on the end of CAGED MAGIC! Then I have to get it in shape to send to the editor next week. But I wanted to stop in here and wish you all a Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Wow, that’s great that you’re closing in on the final bits of Caged Magic. I hope all goes smoothly this weekend and you get all you plan done :).
Our weekend will be busy. We got a call yesterday that hubs youngest brother was found dead yesterday late morning. So we’re kind of messed up. Bob just turned 54 in Jan. No apparent cause.

Nothing going on here. Just doing my own chugging along. Sunday I’ll be starting the rewrite of what will become Frank’s book (from Dying Embers). It was somebody else’s book, so I need to take Richard out and put Frank in. I think I’ll like it better this way. Rich was kind of a bowl of oatmeal. Anyway, I gave myself March to get it done. It still might not be the next book published, but it’ll be on its way.

My daughter turned 13 this week so celebration of teenage hood for her with friends and a stiff drink for me afterward. I now have officially 2 teenagers in the house.
Write away every one I am going to need all the fantasy fiction I can get my hands on to cope.

Kat, Happy Birthday to your daughter! What an exciting time for her! You’ll do fine with two teenagers
They are fun and exasperating, and bring vivid color to our lives. I survived three teenaged boys (although I think boys are easier in some ways).

It was already very loosely connected by both being about agents of the SCIU, but I’m taking a secondary character from Dying Embers and turning him into the hero in Fertile Ground (SCIU #2). Which might actually help me get over the hump in writing this one. We’ll see.
