My weekend was a winner.
Saturday: Turbo and family came over Saturday for a swim day. Youngest and his wife dropped by for an hour or two because he lives close by.
A quick mom guilt interruption here. Most of you know I have the three sons. And Wizard mentioned tp youngest at the last minute that Turbo was going to come by and swim, so it was no big deal for him to stop by since he livers 10 minutes away. But Middle can’t do that and then I feel bad for him. Not totally rational since this wasn’t a plan, but that’s mom guilt for you.
Anyhow, the day was so much fun. Turbo LOVES swimming, plus I bought squirt guns to make sure no one stayed dry, LOL. Then we barbequed hamburgers and had home made ice cream sandwiches rolled in sprinkles. Those were a big hit with Turbo and everyone else ate them as well. Including Wizard who, after making fun of me for doing it, ate two :-).
And last note on Turbo: His dad mentioned something about “Grandma baking”, and Turbo interrupted stopped playing to inform his dad that, “I help Grandma.” I loved that so much.
Sunday, I went to lunch with my sister and her long time best friend who now lives out of state. It was awesome to see both of them.
The only down side of the weekend (aside from the endless heat) is that I didn’t write. But I’m back at the keyboard today!

Yay for Turbo Time™, ice cream sandwiches and family! And Mom Guilt™. 😄 Sounds like an awesome weekend to me.
We got almost 7 inches of rain. That brought cooler temps and we need rain–just not all at once. Still, no complaints here!
And that was my weekend. We didn’t do a thing. I didn’t work. I did make a grocery run to WallyWorld Sunday morning because we were out of dog food. The kids lost two panels of fence in one of the storms that blew–literally–through so Lawyer Guy and Uncle Fix-It got it fixed.
I listened to books and stared at the monitor wondering were my mojo went. I gotta get out of Procrastination Station and ride that Brain Train to Creative Town. That’s my goal this week. We’ll see. Stormy is here for three days. Fun times.

I bet you all had so much fun Saturday. Great idea buying squirt guns too. Turbo must have had a blast.
Sorry about middle son not being able to attend. I get your mom guilt. We can’t all always get together but we moms always wish to have the clan together.
I just loved that photo you posted of Maggie waiting for BLB to arrive. And to think some people have no idea that our animals understand EVERY word we say.
That’s so nice you were able to see your sister and her friend.
I hope you were able to get your words in today.
It’s been hot here too but not like you. We’ve been very humid with no rain and upper 80’s/lower 90’s.
DIL did my hair and I now have very blond hair
. Can’t seem to get me back to normal but for the summer it’s kind of nice.
Nothing really new is going on except youngest and his girlfriend are driving down to her Florida house Wednesday for 2 weeks. It will be strange not having him around.

Silver, wow, that’s a crazy level of rain all at once. Mother Nature really needs to get into therapy.
Glad LG and Uncle were able to repair the fence. Dog food is a compelling reason to brave Walmart, LOL.
Hope your Mojo comes out of hibernation and you have a lot of fun with Stormy this week!

Viki, I love that pic too. We don’t usually see her stand there, although we know she does when were gone. You should have seen her when BLB showed up later–she was crazy happy.
My words are elusive. I’m debating a scene issue and been on this merry go round too long.
Humidity makes those temps miserable.
I get the blond looks great on you, even if it’s not quite what you were going for.
I bet the house is quiet without Youngest around. I hope he and has girlfriend have a great time in Florida!
