Wednesday Cheer

I’m pretty deep in cookie dough today, and my food processor died mid-processing a very sticky dough so that was, let’s just say, challenging :-) I thought we could all use a little holiday cheer:

Are you feeling the cheer yet?

He looks familiar*! And very yummy. I made cookies Monday. Easy peasy snickerdoodles with cake mix and Cool Whip. They were sticky too but not stiff. So sorry about your food processor. I’d just throw up my hands and grab a beer. I’d offer you a glass of wine but I bet Wiz took care of that. Hope today is better with no kitchen disasters! 🥰

*Yes, he IS in my photo files. LOL

LOL, yes, I’m feeling the cheer. Sorry to hear about your food processor. I hope Wizard is taking good care of you and I’m sure Santa will bring you a new one before Christmas even arrives. ;o)

Nice smile on Santa :). I could use some cheer.

The roof was redone yesterday and today. Needless to say it looks great but the chucks of stucco they smashed on the house and the dent/scratch on my garage door do not look good. Neither do the deep ruts ion my lawn and the neighbors tree lawn. My roofer will be out again tomorrow to come up with solutions. So I’ll be stuck at home again. I really need to get out and run errands.

I was finally able to get out of my garage (dumpster in the way) at 11:45. So I had to go to the store. The trip there was fine but – I had a screw in my tire that they told me was okay. That was Thursday. Today I was loosing pressure and had to have the tire replaced. BMW gave me a run around. Got home and hubs took my car in for me and guess what? They replaced the tire. I’m sick of the “girl” treatment.

Time to make dinner and have WINE :).

Have a wonderful day and thanks for the Santa!

Silver, yep this guy’s been around for a while :-)

Your cookies sound like a win.

I wasn’t really upset about my food processor, it’s older and I don’t rely on it as much as other tools. BUT I was upset trying to get the sticky dough out. But persistence saved the dough so I win, LOL.

    Happy Hump Day!

B.E., eh, I don’t need a new food processor right away. I told Wizard NOT to get it for me, LOL. I’ll see if I miss it enough to get another one, then I’ll find a good deal. I just don’t use it enough to “invest” in it.

But getting that dough out in a way that I could still use it was more aggravating because…priorities :-) I already wasted one batch of cookies, I wasn’t going to lose another! But I save the dough and the cookies turned out good.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!

Viki, you sure could use some cheer! The good news is the roof is done and that’s a big deal. But did they need to cause that much damage? I’m so sorry and really hope they will make it all right.

You definitely deserve a glass of wine, along with a meal cooked by someone else and a massage.

    Hope your week gets better.
