Friday Five
TGIF for the last time in 2023!! Doesn’t the year always seem fast when it’s in the rearview mirror??? Anyhow, time to jump into sharing five random things about our week (warning: it’s an intentionally quiet week for me and therefore a very short Friday Five).
- We took our Christmas decorations down yesterday. I’m always ready to do that soon after Christmas. And we got rid of some of the older decorations we don’t need anymore.
- There’s a lot more room in my freezer these days! I really had it packed full! It makes finding things, and grocery shopping, much easier again.
- Is anyone else disappointed that we’re heading into 2024 and we still don’t have the pill that restores our youth and vitality?
- We don’t have any real plans for New Years. We talked about going out to dinner, but we’ll probably stay in and maybe open some wine. Whatever we do, we’ll enjoy it.
- I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!! My wish is that 2024 brings us all good health and true joy! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

1. Good for you in getting the decorations down.
2. I bet your freezer is all open and bright now that all the cookies and other goodies have been given away and enjoyed by everyone.
3. Where is that darn pill?☺
4. Your New Years Eve plans are similar to mine.

1a. I hope to go get a massage tomorrow.
2a. I used my old vacuum today and I CANNOT wait for the replacement to my Dyson arrives. The old one is heavy.
3a. New Years Eve will be at home with shrimp and wine.
4a. New Years Day I will do a pork roast. Maybe C &C will come over but A & A will not.

Now for your five:
1) I bet a massage will feel great after all the holiday work and stress!
2) I know that feeling! We have a Dyson that I use and a heavier Hoover that Wizard uses (we had two from the two story house).
3) Sounds yummy! I think we’ve settled on Tri Tip and open a nice cab that was a gift.
4) Hope C & C are able to come over New Years and enjoy the pork roast with you.
