Who’s Your Secret-Book-Boyfriend???

Shhh…don’t tell Wizard! We’re going to talk about boyfriends today. Come on, you know you want to! It’ll be our little secret.

I’ll start. First on my list Roarke from JD Robb’s In Death serious. He’s hot, he’s dangerous and once I find a way to kill off that pesky Eve, he will fall madly, passionately in love with me.

WRATH, from Dark Lover, the first book in JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series.  The fact that he’s blind and still so hot, strong, sexy…and he takes his place as the king. Love him, YUM! Wish I’d never given that book away, darn it.

SHADE and CON  from Larissa Ione’s Demonica Series (probably more once I read them!)

Okay, your turn!

Okay, I’ll play too :) First is Phoenix, of course. (Amanda, keep your hands off, witch ;) ) Roarke is pretty hot. I’ve always pictured him as a young Pierce Brosnan. Yum! He can’t fall madly in love with you, though, Jen. He has to fall in love with me! Zsadist is actually my favorite from JR Ward’s BDB series. Acheron from Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series has to make the list.

Oh I can play this game! Fav JR Ward for me is Vishous. And Dawn you are right Acheron HAS to make the list, purrr…. ah yeah ok moving on, lol.

Wraith is my fav Larissa Ione character. Jen, if you want to know more about him, his was the third book in the series “Passion Unleashed”. Bones from Jeaniene Frost and Adam from Jenna Black’s Morgan Kinsley series have to be listed too.

Lastly, I am going to move out of the paranormal realm and add in Jack Reacher from Lee Child’s series. For a mortal he can sure kick some a** plus he has this love em and leave em thing going on, never gets attached just makes ya want to be the one to capture him, lol. I’d never make him settle down though, wouldn’t want to change him. Instead I’d just hit the road with him.

Ok Dawn you can’t have Phoenix and Zhadist. I LOVE them both. :)
From the Demonica series I like Wraith (man too many names that are the same in some of my series).
Dimitri from the Vampire Academy series, Connor from Kerrelyn Sparks’ Love at Stake series, Eric(YUM!) from the Sookie books , and of course Edward(Twilight) will always hold a special place in my heart.

I used to LOVE Richard from the Anita Blake books but then he became a jerk but the last book redeemed him a bit in my eyes so we shall see.

OK wow I have lots of boyfriends, better not tell my husband.

 Okay, I have to cheat a bit. Duncan, from my book FAERIE FIRE. I’ve adored him since the first day he popped into my head. Rourke from the IN DEATH books, definitely! OMG I do swoon over him! Our very own Winglayer Axel makes my top five list, along with Sutton, Phoenix and Key. I’m going way back now–Tell Sackett from the Louis L’Amour Sackett Brothers series. (Can you say Sam Elliott?!?) Okay, I know that’s more than five. LOL Whatever! :-P

Dawn, I called Roarke first!!! LOL! So you’re a Zsadist groupie too? I really didn’t fall for him. I do like Acheron though!

Val, I have to double check, I don’t think I read Wraith’s book. I’ll get it! Oh and I like Bones too!

I’ve heard so much about the Jack Reacher books. Had laugh at your “just hit the road with him” comment!

Amanda I won’t tell your husband! But you really do have a lot of boyfriends! I like that about you–a woman can never have too many secret-book-boyfriends.

I have got to read the Vampire Academy Series! I need to write it down so I remember.

Silver, I ordered Faerie Fire this morning! Finally! Had it sitting in my cart until I had a minute to search out the other books I wanted. I’m excited!

That is more than five! LOL! Lois L’Amour? I don’t think I ever read his books. Sounds like I missed out!

Hope you still like Phoenix and Key when you read their books :-)

Jen, it sounds like you never read a Jack Reacher book, so let me explain that comment about “hitting the road”. He doesn’t have a home and only owns the clothes on his back and shoes on his feet. He was an Army brat and was in the Army himself so he is not used to staying in one place for to long, therefore he is always randomly traveling across the US. In a purely “fantasy” sense that idea appeals to me, no bills, no repairs, no responsibilities, etc. Of course he does always manage to find trouble along his way, lol.

Zsadist from Blackdagger brotherhood LOL I want him to sing me to sleep at night LOL.

Wow, I have a few “secret” book boyfriends. Hubby will just have to understand….

    1) Lucan Thorne from Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed Series. if you read this book you would be in love with him too.
    2) Wrath from J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. A blind king who is HOT and self loathing spells love to me….
    3) Dimitri Belikov from Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy Series. A man who fights for whats right even if that means he can not be with the one he loves. Man he is HOT!!!!
    4) Mr. Darcy from Jane Auten’s Pride And Prejudice. Mr. Darcy is way HOT even if he is often misunderstood. To those looking in he seems prideful but to those who truly know him it is just a mask to hide his heart. I love me some Mr. Darcy.

My secret book boyfriend is Larissa Ione’s Wraith. I fell for him hard in book one. My other boyfriend is Gena’s Conrad. I have a thing for the boys who have been tortured the most.

HA! I’m late and I still get to keep my secret book boyfriend all to myself.

Rhage from J.R. Ward’s Lover Eternal. *sigh* I just love him. He’s my favorite brother always has been always will be. The whole dragon thing, that’s just a bonus. I can’t believe I’m the only one. It works though. I wrote J.R. Ward an e-mail after I finished LE and let her know that I had completely fallen in love with Rhage and wanted to thank her for creating such an amazing character. She actually wrote me back. Said writing Rhage was “a wild ride”. :-D
