BLB (youngest son) is developing a bad habit of coming by on Sunday and EATING! This Sunday he had French Toast for breakfast, Subway sandwiches for lunch and then HE TOOK MY BAG OF CHOCOLATE CHIPS! Although he did leave before dinner so I guess I got off easy there.
But he took my chocolate!
It’s my fault, I showed him the bag of chocolate chips as we were toying with the idea of making cookies. As he was leaving, he picked the bag up and said, “Mom can I have these?”
I’m a total sucker because I know how much he loves chocolate but he doesn’t buy it for himself. So I had to say yes. As BLB drove away I don’t know what I was sadder about, him leaving or my chocolate 
Other than that, Wizard and I looked at another one-story house but so far, we’re still just looking.

Ha Ha – I’m the same with letting them take food. But your chocolate, oh no! My boys would fear for their dad’s life if they took my only chocolate ;).
Finding the right house is really hard. When you do find it it will be obvious that it’s the right one. We look all the time because hubs wants some sun for a garden. With all our woods it’s all shade. It doesn’t help him that I like it here ;).
The only thing we did this weekend was have dinner out on Sat.

Oh that BLB. Doesn’t he know that waiting for cookies is better than eating chocolate chips out of the bag? Unless he couldn’t wait and went home to make his own cookies. Then he should share. ;o) Have fun with the house hunting. Hubs and I did that casually for most of our marriage until the real search came and we found this place. It’ll be one whole year here soon.
I’m ba-ack! I don’t know if you caught it on FB, but I went to FL on vacation last week. Stealth vacation because the comment I left here last Monday was posted from Hubs’ laptop. We got home Friday and then spent the weekend recovering.

I agree with BE he needed to wait till the cookies were made.
Saturday normal stuff. Sunday I crashed. I tend to like so many women run myself till I can’t go any further. Lucky for me when I crashed I landed in my bed and stayed there all sunday. The problem is that it is Monday and now I am up to do it all again.

I spent most of the weekend pacing the hallways of the birthing center. It was a tough go, but Only and Baseball Boy introduced the newest member of the James Gang just before midnight on Saturday. At 8 lbs. 9 oz., Only was VERY glad they induced early. If they’d waited another 3 weeks…
Momma and baby Liam are well and happy. While life won’t be “normal” again, at least I can find my rhythm and get back to a routine.
And BLB is evil. We need a chocolate fae to go with my coffee fae. I must look into this possibility.

Viki, the woods lovely, it’d be hard for me to give that up too. We have a TON of sun where we live
But you’re right on the house, and the good news is we’re happy where we are. We’re just thinking long term.

B.E., did you have fun? You’d said you wouldn’t be around, but not what you were doing specially. I hope it was a great trip!
We love looking at homes, so this is 1/2 fun and 1/2 serious, plus we get ideas for our house if we stay here.
BLB might give the chocolate chips to his girl friend to make cookies, or they might make them together. Or he’ll just eat them–he’s like his mom that way.

Silver, I saw pictures!! Congratulations to all of you! He looks like a beautiful healthy boy! As a mom of three boys, I know what joy he will bring to you all.
Now I hope Only get a little rest after all that work of childbirth. You too! I bet that wasn’t easy pacing those halls and waiting.
I seriously need a Starbucks and chocolate delivery system.
