So I this idea, I’ll do a short, quick holiday video. Sixty seconds max. And you know what? Wizard has time now, I’ll ask him to film it for me. It’ll take us, what, a half hour?
Um, yeah, I forgot a tiny little detail — Wizard is a perfectionist. Suddenly, we were doing test shots all over the house trying to find the best location and even moved the Christmas tree and rearranged furniture. Yep, even the Fed Ex guy was amused, because of course he came by to deliver something I’d ordered as we’re filming right in front of the front window. Totally embarrassing.
Although two days before the UPS guy came by while I was cleaning with music blaring and there’s a possibility that I might have been singing…and dancing…with a mop. However as far as I know, that is not on video so I’m going to deny it ever happened 
Anyway, we finally got the video to Wizard’s satisfaction, until we uploaded it and realized the sound was too low. So we did it again the next day. We’re getting the hang of this, although our next goal is to learn to edit the videos, making them tighter and cleaner.
So to the answer to the question: How long does it take to do a sixty second video? TWO DAYS!

Isn’t it amazing how the things that look so easy really have a lot of work behind them. I love your video. You look really great in red too. You and a Wizard did a fantastic job.
I can picture you singing and dancing while cleaning. I always sing but I never have music playing so if I were caught it would be more than embarrassing :).
Saw my mom on her birthday. She was so happy it made the nerve pain I have worth it.
Sat. the computer guy said that after talking to HP I should junk my 2 yr old computer. They don’t make replacement parts. The warranty expired Oct. 1st. So ticked off. I seriously awaiting a break, we need one.
Yes, Bailey comes to visit. Watch out lizards ;)! Can’t wait to see a photo or two.

Hi! It’s so nice to finally see you almost kinda in person. I can’t wait for Caged Magic and your new series sounds fun. =o) I totally believe it took 2 days. Lighting is so important and such a pain to get right for photos – I can imagine how hard it was for a video. Yay for Wizard being a perfectionist and getting it right. Yay for a Bailey visit, too!
We’ve been busy here, too. Just can’t say doing what yet. Except for the writing. I have 4.5 chapters left to edit. I should be able to get that finished by bedtime tomorrow – good lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise. ;o)

Jen you and wizard should consider some video’s for your kids. I am so glad that we have recordings of the many relatives we have lost over the years. Having those are a great treasure and not enough people do it when they are younger. So much changes so quickly.
My husband sat looking at the little Christmas Tree we have up at our house last night. I handed him a cup of hot chocolate and asked what he was thinking about- He said “you know last year I couldn’t even see the tree and I honestly thought I would be gone before seeing this one.” What a difference a year can make.

Awwww! And yay for more WSHs and new series! I can totally see you an Wiz wandering around. This is what happens when he has too much time on his hands. So happy Bailey Dog is coming for Christmas!
