Now I remember why I immerse myself in writing…because when I’m not writing, I do projects around the house. Since we’re stating to look for new floors, Wizard and I decided to get started cleaning out of a few closets upstairs so we won’t have to move it later. Wow, we’ve accumulated a lot of junk–although most of it is the kid’s stuff. We made a huge dent in the project though so we’re happy. But our house is at that age where it needs work and apparently…
Which means Wizard and I have to do the work
I’m also juggling a bunch of writing related projects, including looking at re-publishing two of my favorite books from my backlist that I now own the rights to. I’ll talk about that more as the process moves along.
What I want to do this weekend is:
What I DREAM of doing is adopting this guy that I found online:
Just ignore Wizard standing behind me saying, “You wish, witch. Not happening unless I walk out into my garage and see a brand new Mustang.”
What will probably happen:
Except that woman doesn’t look anything like me, so maybe this is more accurate:
So what are you doing this weekend?

Lost it all again.
Buy a Hot Wheels Mystang and put it in the garage. You get a puppy and Wizard gets a new Mustang. Win win

Spring is in there air here and that’s usually when I do go on a cleaning frenzy and air out the house which has been locked up since winter.
But this weekend we will be taking out the Harley. Hubs has been working non-stop crazy hours and we need a break. Thinks there is a st pattys party going on not far from here.
I’m with Vickie… buy him a hot wheels one and your set.

ROFL… you kill me. I’m so totally that last image. Except she needs a coffee mug. And Viki has the right idea. Get him a toy Mustang and leave it in the middle of the garage. Tada!
Yesterday, Hubs and I took a couple hours off to run a very relaxed set of errands. We drove slow and took the long way, stopped to look at boat stuff, wandered through the home supply place (all he needed was more dust masks), bought deer food and chatted with the old farmers at the feed store, hit the thrift shop. Since I thought yesterday was Friday, I feel like it’s already the weekend. I just have to get this book to my editor tonight, and then get back to work on the next SCIU – so there’s my real weekend.

I remembered at about 1 a.m. that I’d left a load of jeans in the dryer–jeans Lawyer Guy needed a pair to wear today. After hustling to get MOONSTRUCK: SECRETS live and with the time change, my brain is mush! With luck, I’ll get the Christmas wreath off the wall above the fireplace today. Or this weekend. Or sometime soon. *looks shifty-eyed*
In good news, I am feeling better and when I cough it no longer feels like I’m hacking up a lung. Which is good because I’m madly at work on the first book in the new Wolves motorcycle club book.
Ooh. Backlist When do we get to hear the news?!?! Have a great weekend, witches!

Viki! Brilliant on the Hot Wheels Mustang!
Not so brilliant on losing your posts. So sorry about that.
Have a good weekend!

Ashlynn, Riding the Harley is much more relaxing and re-energizing that cleaning. Although I’ll admit that both of us feel good about making progress.
Hope you guys have a blast on the bike this weekend!

B.E., you had me at deer food I want to watch the deer too. And your errand days sounded relaxing.

Silver, it’s great news that you’re feeling better! You really had the crud, this year. That coughing is brutal and beyond exhausting. I haven’t had that kind of illness in a decade but I still remember it.
If you ignore the Christmas wreath long enough…it’ll be Christmas But then I usually take my stuff down the day after Christmas because I’m so ready to be done. (But I wasn’t sick!)
And man I’ve been there with remembering something like that at 1:00am. Hope you get some rest this weekend so you can fully recover.
