Happy Friday! Thank you all for the amazing comfort as we said goodbye to Bailey Dog this week. I appreciate every single message and kind thought. You guys helped make this week beatable and I’m truly grateful.
I’m running a little contest over on my Facebook page today (Friday). Because all of you have let me share Bailey with you over the years, I really want to see pictures of the animals you have loved. If you’d like to share them, please go over to my Facebook Page. The Giveaway Post is pinned to the top of the page, and you can post a picture in the comments. I really want to see all your beloved animals, and share in that with you
This month has been filled with challenges that repeatedly interrupted my revision on Savaged Dreams, but I won’t let it stop me. I’m diving back in (for the billionth time) to revise this book. I believe in this story so much, and I won’t give up.
So what are you guys doing this weekend? Any big plans?

I saw that FB post and shared a picture of Max from back when. Neither him nor Bailey should’ve gone so soon. =o(
Good for you diving back in on Savaged Dreams. Kick that book’s butt.
No plans except writing. SCIU #3 is really coming along – it’s just not ponying up with its title yet. And I should see the first set of edit notes for Up Wish Creek either Sunday or Monday, so I’ll have to jump right on those. I might try fishing one morning this weekend, too. We’ll see how the weather goes and whether the places I fish are overloaded with vacationers. Nothing like thunder and/or vacationers to drive me back inside my hermit hole. LOL

This has been a week, hasn’t it? And I don’t mean that in a necessarily good way. But we manage to shove through the stuff and keep going. In my case, it was, on the the grand scale of things, a minor inconvenience but I’ve now lost several days writing time to my stupid computer glitches, not to mention a big chunk of writing time. Ah well. Who wants weekends anyway, right?
Still sending good thoughts to all of you along with much love.

B.E., I saw the picture of Max! Thanks for sharing, I’ve looked at that picture several times now. And yeah we lost them too soon.
Thanks on Savaged Dreams. I’m going to do just that.
SCIU #3 coming along is great news! I know titles can be a struggled, but I’d rather struggle with that, than writing the book
Hope the thunder and vacationers cooperate so you can get in some finishing!

Silver, I feel for you on the computer troubles. I’ve been there, and it’s always when the deadline is bearing down on you. I’m sorry! I hope you can get it sorted out. Getting a new computer, aside from the expense, is a time suck you can’t afford right now too.
Oh this week…yeah…I’m over it. In fact I’m over July too.
Thank you again. I know you have to work all weekend, but I hope you can get in a break and some fun.

Hi Jenn – I posted a photo of my baby from when I was young. I rescued her from under a trailer. She was the sweetest thing.
I hope you are all doing okay. Bailey was one wonderful pup. I’ll never forget your posts of him watching over BLB after the accident. Such a loving little guy. He must be having a great time cashing lizards ;).
I pray you have a good weekend.

So sorry for your loss. I’ve always enjoyed your Bailey posts. Remember he isn’t suffering any more.
Hugs,

Viki, I saw Puff’s picture, what a pretty kitty. She must have loved you so much for rescuing her. I’m really loving all the pictures.
And thank you so much. We are doing like any of us do when we lose our beloved animal friends. I’m really working on remembering to be grateful that we had him for so many years, and that really helps.
Hope you have a good weekend too.

Nancy, thank you so much. We often teased Bailey that he didn’t know he was famous It’s a comfort to know he’s not suffering too.
