Wow my electric bill is going be brutal with all this heat. On the other hand, my pool is nice and warm
Saturday was a lot of fun with my sister and her husband. Youngest Son and his wife stopped by too. After the long Covid lockdown, Youngest really wanted to see his aunt and uncle, and it was great to have them all here.
But the happiest of all was Maggie, LOL! She is fully aware everyone only comes to our house to see her. When everyone left, she crashed and didn’t move until time for bed.
And for me, I have to say that I’m very grateful for my sister. Saturday just reminded me how much. Just because she’s a great sister
Sunday was quieter, with just normal stuff. Wizard was off racing, I’ve been thinking about what I’m doing…why I’m struggling when I love the book so much. I mean I know why…but what am I going to do about it? That’s the dilemma, I don’t have an answer for yet.
So that’s my weekend, how was yours?

Ugh, I don’t want to even think about how much electric costs for you. :hugs: Yay for fun times with family and having an awesome family. Of course people only visit to see Maggie. Knowing why is half the battle. You’ll get there. :additional hugs:
I didn’t do much of anything this weekend. Laid around watching TV and reading for the most part. I’ll get back to being more than a toad this week. There are things to be done. I guess. Maybe.

What B.E. said in response to you. Yay to the good, boo to the bad and you WILL figure out the dang book!
I went to Boston this weekend. I didn’t want to go to Boston and now the Dropkick Murphy song “Shipping Up to Boston” (aka the theme song of “Rizzoli and Isles”) is stuck in my head, but the Irish Mob Wolves are the only characters talking to me at the moment. So, I went to Boston. Stupid Google Street View. Anyway, I have a ton of research done–places, names, faces, and 1K new words. We’ll see what happens today.
I also emptied the two laundry baskests of stuff I’d cleared from the kitchen counter. Boone now has more floorspace upon which to sprawl in my office and the baskets are back in the garage laundry space where they belong. I might tackle one of the dish/mug cabinets this week. Clear out more space and send stuff to the thrift store.
Oh! And we had big rain Saturday. I feel bad for your heat because we’re usually the ones sweltering but we’re used to it. Today? It feels a little like fall outside. Sorry.
Hang in there and here’s to wrangling the book into submission! I’m headed back to Boston after I refill my coffee cup.
Have a great week, everyone! 🥰

You’re not kidding your electric bill is going to be high. I think most of us are going to have higher than normal when I see the weather map. Seems like it’s all red but you out west have it insanely HOT.
How nice that youngest and DIL were able to stop by and see Maggie, okay, Biker Witch and hubby too.
The words will get there the way you want them. Just remember that you have a process. It’s a painful process at times but it works.
I have jury duty starting tomorrow for two weeks so I probably won’t be around. What really ticks me off about the “new” rules is we are allowed NOTHING into the court house. No purse, chap stick, gum, na da. We the people pay for this building and the salaries of those inside. We are also doing a service so why the hell are we punished? Really annoys me. Needless to say, I will be drinking buckets of coffee beginning at 3 am 😄.
Have a great afternoon!

B.E., I think a lot of us are going to have high electric bills, but I’m choosing to be grateful for A/C. At least until the bill actually arrives
We all have those lazy weekends. Hope you enjoyed it, and Monday is behaving for you. I’m betting you do get things done this week thought–you always do.

Silver, yeah I’ll figure it out, but…well let’s not talk about it today.
At least you didn’t have to pack for you trip to Boston You got all the research done and I’m betting it helped you flesh out the story too.
You’re turning into Ms. Organization! Way to go!
I’m glad you guys got the rain and break in heat. Honestly, we’re used to heat in the summer, and I have A/C so I worry about those who don’t, or can’t afford to run it in all the states being roasted.
Hope you had a good return trip to Boston, LOL!

Viki, did you see Oregon? That had some crazy hot temps too.
Maggie was silly happy
It’s the physical blocks making me insane these days, but thank you for the encouragement. It helps.
Wow that’s unreasonable for requiring you to be there all day every day. I’m so sorry. It does seem a rather odd way to run things. And I can’t see the point. Hope it goes fast for you.
