Wednesday Update

I am so good at procrastinating! If I could find a way to monetize that skill I’d be rich, and then I could make more money off teaching others how to do it :-) the point of all this procrastination is that I hit a wall so hard on this book, I was ready to totally give up. I stopped talking about the book, I didn’t dream about it, I couldn’t even make myself read any romances because then I just got upset at myself.

Wizard had to talk me off the edge.

Yesterday, I began to get a glimmer of an answer to fixing my heroine–her backstory and the inciting premise of the book were creating logic flaws that caused massive havoc in three drafts at the 100 to 150 point of the book. It’s been a tad frustrating. But I’m hopeful for the first time in weeks. Cross your fingers, friends!

So that’s my quick update before I have to run out and pick up a prescription I forgot about :-)

Now I’d love to hear your Wednesday Update. Anything you want to share about your life, projects, hobbies or animals.

Fingers crossed! 🤞 This has been a touch one for you but you’ll nail it down!

    Procrasitnation? Become a TikTok influencer.

My words are coming in fits and starts but they are sort of coming. I have another deadline looming and I really need to focus elsewhere but those characters are sitting around with duct tape over their mouths protesting any work I want to do with them.

There’s always coffee. In fact, I’m ready for my second cup. Too bad Insomnia isn’t an Olympic sport. I’d be on the medal podium for sure!

Did I tell you to hang in there because you got this? Yeah, you do. Happy Hump Day! 🥰

    Fingers crossed!

I’m at around 42% on my edit notes for this blob-like thing I’ve created and I’ve got 650 words written on the new beginning. My tomatoes are blooming, which gives me hope that I will eventually have more than one tomato to show for my efforts. The neighbor brought me a zucchini from the plants I gave them, and it was just big enough to give me enough shredded zucchini for bread. Things are looking up. (Looking on the bright side at the moment.)

My toes are crossed right along with my fingers. I know that you will work it out.

There is a possible flaw to your logic on teaching the class on procrastination. You would procrastinate on preparing the lesson plans and students may bail :) :). But then again, that would show them you are very good at it and they will learn from you :).

Looking at the weather map today was killer. The entire country is HOT. Sure hope it breaks soon.

Nothing interesting happening over here this week. It’s one of those slow ones. A good thing to have now and then.

    Have a great afternoon!

Silver, LOL on Tik Tok. I’ve been tempted to go on there, but resist. I have enough distractions.

Ugh on your characters protesting. You know, it’s like kids, they just aren’t grateful enough that we give them life :-) Hope your characters snap out of it soon.

It seems like your insomnia has been worse lately. And that makes everything else harder. Hope the sleep fairies move it and take over the night time hours for you.

Happy Hump Day to you too!

B.E. you’re almost half way on your edits!!! That’s great progress!

I believe in your tomatoes :-) And for the neighbor giving you zucchini from the plant you gave them.

Zucchini bread is always a great idea.

Hope things stay in the positive light for you!

Viki, that’s a huge logic flaw, LOL! Back in the days when I did workshops and things, it took me hours and hours to put those classes together. I’d definitely procrastinate now.

Seriously true on this hot weather all over.

Slow weeks have their pluses :-) Have a great night!
